My husband and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we have had pancakes and breakfast every year to celebrate. We... are new to the area and I was sooo sad to find out that they didn't serve their breakfast menu for dinner. Fortunately, weasked our server and he talked with the Chef, and everyone was so gracious to us and allowed us to have pancakes and waffles fordinner! Service was excellent!! Our server was funny!! This place has gone down hill. The past two times I?ve visited, service was awful. My family of four went for breakfast and our... waitress was non existent the whole time, until she finally refilled our drinks and dropped off our checks. My last visit waseven worse. My boyfriend and I went for breakfast and our server was rude and rushed us. I confirmed that poached medium eggswould still be runny and he said yes, but when he brought them they were completely cooked. It wouldn?t have been a problembecause they were remade, however he brought the new eggs with quite an attitude and said ? you asked for poached medium whichthose were you should?ve asked for poached light.? He then proceeded to lay his forearms on the hostess stand and talk to thehostess completely ignoring us. I had to ask another server for syrup for the pancakes. Went here for bunch on a cloudy day. The service was great or waiter was attentive and gave great recommendations. Everything... that I tried was great. The house made sausage was fantastic and the fried chicken was really good. I would also recommend thehouse juices. The pancakes were the perfect fluffiness and the omlet hit the spot. I usually don't write comments for review but I need to. I was recommended this place from a family member. The food was great ... but the services was horrible. The server kept forgetting to provide utensils, substitute to order and etc. this was not a bigdeal because I'm flexible. However I reviewed the Sunday menu on 4/7/2019 at 1:00pm and notice that the menu mention a loyaltyprogram and you will receive a dessert for your birthday month. Not the exactly date but birthday month.I ask the server if Isign up today would I be able to receive the birthday dessert The server forgot during dinning. So I ask again and she ask themanager. The manager told the server that they could not do it because my birthday have past.( I told them my birthday was lastweek) I ask why because on the menu it said birthday month. The server ask the manager to explain and he said he could only doif I received a coupon code. I did not understand why the restaurant could not be accommodating since the menus said birthdaymonth and I sign up. I'm really writing this review on principle . I work in service and you want to make the customer happy. At first I could not received the birthday dessert bc it was not my birthday but now I need to receive a coupon code. Heard this was a good place to go to celebrate a special occasion. I was taking a friend there for a birthday luncheon. The... menu looked great, so we decided to each get one sandwich each and share half. This is always a great way when you can't decideon just one item. We had the chicken salad sandwich and the pastrami. After one bite of the chicken we both agreed we couldn'teat it. It tasted like a cream sandwich. The waitress was very obliging and offered us another choice, which was the rightthing to do. Besides not having the best food ever, their prices are on the high side. $40.00 for lunch for 2 is not arestaurant that I will go back to. Read more
