Restaurant inside Marriott Charlotte City Center. Excellent service with mostly tasty food items. Breakfast was good. Avocado... toast and breakfast potatoes were the highlight items. Stopped in for a quick bite. Our server, Maria was very friendly & informative, she was able to answer all of our questions &... help me pick an entree I loved. I had the scallops & my partner had a pasta dish that I don’t currently see on their menuonline, maybe it was a special. But both were absolutely delicious & an appropriate size for the price. The cocktails were alsovery well made, and strong. Service was fast, & overall I have no complaints about the experience at stoke. The only thing thatwould prevent me from coming back here on a date night is the volume level - the hotels sports bar concept is connected to stoke& different music is played in each restaurant, it was very loud & distracting. It caused other guests to yell over the music tohear each other & I could barely hear my partner. Better for a casual outing but I would give it another shot, I really loved myscallops. Read more
Design and feels is great. Conveniently located at the Marriott. We experienced unprofessional service because they had the... breakfast server come in to fill. Food was hit and miss, some dishes where good, some were just ok. The do validate the valet. Read more
This restaurant is beautiful. Great decor and the staff was very friendly. When we arrived the restaurant was fairly empty so we... were seated right away and it wasn’t long after we sat down when our waitress Rachel came to take our drink order and go overthe menu with us . The highlight of our night was meeting another Yelp Elite Jordan. We talked about traveling and food untilher guest arrived. Rachel explained the menu in detail so we could make the best choice for our entrees. For how expensive theentrees were they should have come with at least one side. I really enjoyed sitting close to the open kitchen and watching themcook and plate the food. The drink I had was really good with unique taste. I love spicy drinks and I would give it a 6 on thespice level. I can say that I really enjoyed the food it was seasoned well and was fresh. I would definitely come back. Read more

This place is incredible. I love the open kitchen & the way it is designed. It does not feel like you are in a hotel. We stared... with some delicious cocktails and the burrata appetizer which was served on delicious sourdough bread. My dinner was thisperfect pesto pasta with beautifully seared dry packed scallops and NC shrimp. We finished with the life changing 1 lb donutthat was warm & tasty. The service was great and we were not rushed despite it being a busy Saturday evening. I can’t wait toreturn to Stoke next time I am in Charlotte! Read more
Fantastic food and great service. If you need gluten free they have delicious options. The Kale-Broccoli was amazing. If you... need a GF meal this place is a great option. The rest of my group had The Donut. The 1lb donut is a sight to see and I'm told itwas fantastic, it is the opposite of gluten free though. Absolutely worth the visit. Read more
I had a great experience here, with the food and the wait staff. Unfortunately they were out of the pasta, so I went for the... steak instead. Steak was very good, they cooked medium rare perfectly, and the sauce had a nice acidity to it. The sticky porkshank was very flavorful with a sweet sauce. Mac and cheese tasted very creamy and cheesy. The burrata had a lot of nice flavorsto combine for an appetizer and the donut was really good and fluffy, but very filling!
