We stopped here for lunch on the way back to SC. It's a short drive from the Outlets tucked away in a small strip shopping... center. We viewed the menu, ordered, paid, and sat down with our drinks. The food was freshly made and brought to our table instyro containers in a matter of minutes. My wife had the 3 Jerk Chicken Tacos. First off! When I walked in the door, I was asked if I was picking up and order and I said no. Then I was told that I had 1... minute to order. I asked if they had oxtails because that is all I wanted. She said yes! So I ordered my daughter a plate and Iasked for a side of oxtails. She said that they didn?t do sides I would have to buy another plate. I proceeded to tell her Icannot eat what comes with it. So I said I will take a plate with collards and cabbbage. She rung me up and the total was$24.98. So when I got my bag there was one plate. FOR $25!!! Bihhh whaT! So she says I didn?t here you say another plate. Likewe had a whole conversation about me not being able to eat certain things and what I could eat. Thank you very much for cooking a flavorful dinner for my husband and me. We loved our order. I had salmon over rice and he had... the chicken sandwich. Hands down THE BEST Caribbean restaurant have tried in Charlotte ???? The restaurant is bright and inviting with delicious... fragrances of jerk chicken and the like wafting in the air!! My Oxtails do not look like the previous review below. No dark or thick gravy, look like they were cut in half not full size ... oxtails. The greens-mac and cheese no flavor but a watery taste. Even the thin gravy taste like water. I live 30 minutes awayand threw my plate out. I wasted $22 dollars. I'm disappointed their food is usually good. Read more

The atmosphere was clean. The staff was very friendly he even made sweet tea just for our family! My daughter had the oxtails,... she loved them and I had the brown stew chicken. The was the real Jamaican food I was use to having back home. We willdefinitely be back! Read more

As a first time customer I've been coming here frequently within a couple of weeks. I came across this place and decided to give... it a try especially since I was craving some good Jamaican food. And man did I luck up..! There's something special about thisplace on how the food is cooked. You can definitely tell by tasting it. The food to go was not only appealing with a nicepresentation but more importantly the quality and freshness to the taste. I've never tasted plantains as good as this placemakes them.! The jerk seasoning was just right. A little bit of heat but not overpowering. The mac n cheese was delicious. Thetacos ???? are definitely a good choice and freshly made to the taste. My first few experiences have been nothing but great. Itstoo bad you're not able to enjoy eating inside due to this covid-19 mess. I'll definitely continue try their other selectionsoff their menu.
