Always wanted to stop for lunch but never in the area around lunch time ( actually I ate lunch at 3 pm so a little bit late)... great little place, walked In , waitress told me to take a seat, brought me a menu over , got my drink order( just water) wasn'tvery crowded ( it was after the lunch rush I'm guessing) I ordered the calzone with ham, a cheese calzone was $8, add a $1 forham( or any topping) and in no time at all . They had it out to me , yea , might look a little burnt on top, but boy was itgood, and big too, will definitely be back if I'm in the area, and guess what my bill was only $10.12 for a water and thatlarge calzone ( I actually didn't finish it all) I was stuffed. Very unassuming place for how awesome the pizza is! I'd skip on the salad, though. Also, the staff was very friendly.
From DC area. I'm very happy with this place, got great service, and met one of the owners/managers. I must say that if you are... coming through Charlottesville, you need to stop in here. I've been told it's been renovated and under new management, so ifyou had a bad experience here at some point, give it another shot! Lovely cocktails at a great price and fabulous wings. Read more
Took almost 1.5 hours to get two pizzas. We put the takeout order in at 5:35pm on a Friday was told it would be 15-25 minutes.... Showed up at about 6:15 and was told it would be another 10 minutes. Fast forward to 6:50 and we finally got our pizzas. Thepizzas are good but holy cow. Not worth all that. And they just kept seating more people while there were others who also hadbeen waiting over a hour for their pizzas. Read more
Decent margherita pizza, though i prefer when there are dollops of mozzarella, and could've used a little more basil, i did very... much like the sauce however. The jerk chicken wings were really good too. Read more
