Ordered tofu dumplings and a few bites in I realized there was SHRIMP in them. Whole shrimps. I’m vegetarian so couldn’t eat... them. Bubble tea was mediocre. Bubbles were mushy and had an odd flavor and tea was literally just milk with a splash of tea.Musky sugary milk. No thanks. Great post-wine tasting dinner. Located close to UVA campus so parking was challenging. We enjoyed the 5 pork dumplings and 5... shrimp & chive dumplings (both wonderful), seaweed salad, fried rice, and Tonkotsu Ramen (very tasty! ordered it only a littlespicy and it was still slightly too spicy for me). Everything is served in to-go containers, but we still ate it there at oneof their tables. Two of us ate for about $25. This place is almost a hole in the wall, but man are they good! They have super delicious dumplings, their fried rice is... literally the best rice I've ever had, and having a super wide selection of bubble tea is always going to draw me into thestore. It's really no wonder why they are PACKED on weekends when college students are in. If you haven't gone here, definitelytry them out. They are one of the best take out restaurants in Charlottesville. Love the dumplings from here! Got the chicken dumplings, they are tasty! The sauce that came with them was great too. Love to... dip them. Never had seaweed salad, so tried that too. While I have discovered that I am not a fan of seaweed salad, I do thinkit tastes fine, probably for those who like it, it is good. Just not my cup of tea. ???? Glad I tried it though! Super yummy. It can get expensive quick with two bowls of ramen and two things of boba but definitely worth it. I had the garlic... broth and pork dumplings added to my bowl. Would definitely try again! Read more

I'm in Charlottesville for the weekend, looking for a good Chinese or dumpling spot. Lo and behold, I find Got Dumplings on... Yelp. I got delivery and ordered the pork dumplings as well as their cookies and cream (oreo) boba. Big fan of the dumplings! Ican see why many UVA students go here for their dumpling fix. There was an ample amount of filling, which was well seasoned andvery tasty as well. The wrapper is thin, which creates a nice opportunity for you to taste the meat. The dough is high qualityand there are even little crispy bits, too. I loved the dipping sauce they served this with. It was a bit sweet, but went verywell with the dumplings. Reasonable price for the portion (although it's probably not enough for a meal to most). Their bobawas okay, but nothing really special. I wanted to have a bit of creaminess to this drink, but it's wasn't that creamy. It wasn'tvery flavorful in general. The boba pearls tasted fine, and they do give you a large container (although there is also quite abit of ice and it's pretty expensive). All in all, I'd probably pass on the boba. Definitely check this place out if you have adumpling craving, though. Read more
