It wasn't bad food (the meat sauce is kind of bland). I could've cooked at home for cheaper and it would've tasted similar.... Overall, sweet ladies, ok food, but not worth the $50 bill for 3 of us. Just not a place for us. Read more

Great little restaurant, parking is tight, ( especially in back) but food was well worth it. Had the triple club, they bring... you a ton of fries , next time will definitely try a footlong hot dog, lots of locals eat here seems like. Small dining area but the food is delicious. Read more
I grew up just a few blocks away in the 1960?s and 70?s and one of my brother?s still lives in neighborhood! Been eating at the... Jak?n Jil all my life and always will! Judy and I had the Hamburger Steak Dinner with Fries and Coleslaw! Like always?.Great! Been across the country and back this summer hitting every little hometown, still locally owned Diner we could andthere?s a lot of good ones out there! Right here in Charlottesville The Jak?n Jil is one of the very best we?ve seen anywhereand this great town even has a others! Read more
