Really not worth the time/ money. Rice was way over cooked and under seasoned. Bao bun was obviously made with pre made dough.... Filling was gross. The chicken curry was bland and the dumplings tasted store bought. There are so many great places around herethat I would recommend (like got dumplings if you want dumplings). WISH there were more options. People working who I?ve interacted with are sometimes a little bit brusque. If you?re vegetarian... don?t even bother just go somewhere else, last time I went there weren?t veggie options. If you like decent pork dumplings Idefinitely would recommend though. Some people like it better than got dumplings down the street, some would say skip on Marco &Luca for got dumplings. Neither are bad though! Read more

All the time, every time, for a decade. I've never even heardof one single dumpling being sub par and I've been eating there since before this location existed. The location is just asgood. You can sit at the window and watch the downtown mall stroll by, or you can sit at one of the cozy interior tables for amore private and less distracting experience. It's relatively small, but they make great use of the space. I think they alsoadded a whole second dining room to keep up! Always very clean and we'll decorated. Prices are unreasonably low. Years ago Iwas shocked to see they raised the price, after some math I realized they hadn't even kept up with inflation. It was my #1choice on the mall when I had no money, and it's still my number one choice when I do. But, the people are the best part.Polite, friendly, personable, and provide services far beyond expectations. Always with a smile. They work on holidays, and evenorganized a field trip to teach my whole (2nd grade?) class how to make our own pasta and do calligraphy! They really do afantastic job and show us all what a local business should be like. I'm glad to see they are still here doing well, and evenexpanding! Charlottesville's downtown mall wouldn't be the same without them! They really are a fantastic part of making ourlocal community what it should be! Read more
The food is 5 star but I have to give 3 for now. I was craving their dumplings soooo badly and saw that they were open til 3. I... got there at 11 last night which was a Friday and the sign on the door says open til 2:30 a.m. but they were CLOSED. Hurt myheart! Hopefully they dont usually close earlier than the sign says or maybe it had something to do with the fact that aroundthe corner was another one (relocating?). Read more
