Stopped here on a whim, and we were hangry. Excellent BBQ place! I had the Brisket sandwich - like butter - along with collard... greens and baked apples. He had the pork sandwich with baked beans and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. Don't missMoe's! Read more
We just moved to Ivy and there are limited dining options. I checked out Moe?s for lunch and was really impressed. A small but... attentive crew in the kitchen serving up delicious, quality BBQ. Generous portions and a great menu. This may be our new go-to?I?m in search of a fresh salad so I?ll definitely be back to try their smoked chicken salad. Read more
Ordered platter with a beer. With tip and tax, $30. Three strips of mediocre brisket with two pickle chips in a little basket,... two containers of banana pudding and mashed sweet potato with corn flakes and nuts ('casserole'). Obviously still hungry, andbeer selection was poor (about 10, half of which were American pilsner or PBR, etc). Not worth $30. For that amount of money inTX or OK I'd have gotten twice the portion sizes and a larger beer selection. Nothing tasted bad, however. Read more
Food - 5/5 Value - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Atmosphere - 4/5 Alabama red and white sauces. There?s only one other place in... Charlottesville that competes with Moes and between the two, Moes takes the cake on value. I liked Moe?s interesting androtating sides as well - a cheesy (in the best way!) broccoli casserole and hearty black eyes peas. Their cornbread is alsosuperior to the other one. Moe?s also scores points for being a locally-owned Cville staple, not a massive chain. Read more
So good! The place was clean! The aroma of smoked goodness hit my wife and I as soon as we walked in. The brisket and the wings... showcased amazing natural smoked flavor! The meats were moist! Even the Mac and cheese and banana pudding had a great authenticflavor. Easy 5 stars! We?ll be back for sure! Read more

Delicious! Catfish was perfectly seasoned and breaded. Ribs were tender. Sides and cornbread so good. Sweet tea just right.... Would eat there again when back in town! Read more
