A family working hard. Nice folks. Ample amount of meat in the pho.\nCurious and wondered why only 3 tables but an unnecessarily... humongous kitchen. Everything was plastic, plastic, plastic... No real dishes or utensils and no recycling at all. The sign says\'extremely hot soup\' but it came in a plastic bowl and even the spoon for soup is plastic. I can understand this if we orderedit to go but we dined in! ????\nWe all have been informed enough by now about how harmful plastic is to us. it\'s 2022approaching 2023 and for our health (I care-cancer survivor) and the environment, this doesn\'t seem right at all. New vietnamese restaurant in town. Probably one of the best vietnamese food you can get in Charlottesville.\n\nNot a lot of eat... in space. There were only three tables. The restaurant is run by a family. Only two people were working so it took some timeduring lunch hour to get our food.\n\nWe ordered the bun bo hue and wonton noodle soup. The broth on the bun bo hue wasexcellent ???? but no pork feet no typical beef/tripes/tendons. I was disappointed... The homemade chili hot oil was great.Might come back and try other menu items.\n\nBoba was good but not the tea. Tasted watery.\n\nBut the customer service was good.Really friendly staff. Read more

Run, don?t walk, to this awesome new spot! I have had the pho twice and need to start systematically working my way through the... rest of the menu. The owners are kind beyond words and are wonderful ambassadors of their food. The pho is so yummy, herbaceous,savory, and served with plenty of herbs and sprouts. Not to be missed! Read more

It\'s the best Vietnamese food I\'ve had in over a decade, we ordered the Vermicelli bowl, Rice plater, Pho, and Bun Bo hue to... share, and the whole family thought all these dishes were fantastic. I?ve been here in Cville for more than 30 years and we have not had a Vietnamese restaurant until now. I?ve had their ph?, bún... bò hu? and I will reserve my judgment for now. Just like every new restaurants, they need time to settle in to be fantasticand Nguyen?s Kitchen have potential to do greatness.\n\nToday I decided go with the pork vermicelli bowl and I am glad I did. The bowl came with bountiful of delicious grilled pork with a tiny hint of lemongrass (wish it had more). The vermicelli (búnwe Vi?t call it) have a very nice bouncy texture, and it mixed in with the lettuce, bean sprouts and scallions to make this anauthentic Vietnamese bún th?t bò. (Tip - look for the spicy fish sauce jar by the checkout counter to send this dish over thetop!)\n\nThe husband and wife team is amazing, very helpful and always serves with a smile. If you?re new to Vietnamese food,please give Nguyen?s Kitchen a try and forget Pho3Pho. I saw the website and was so excited based on the pictures. I love Vietnamese food. Was very disappointed there was not one item... on the menu that they show pictures of on their website. We decided to order anyways because of the reviews. Not sure that theother reviews ate at the same restaurant. All three of us were extremely disappointed. Read more
