We had our rehearsal dinner here for our wedding in October and it was perfect. They had two long tables that fit our group of... 30. The food was so yummy and staff was excellent. This was really the perfect place for our rehearsal dinner! Read more

My husband and I have been touring the area for cute and romantic places to check out on our short visit to Charlottesville.... This place was number 1 musts see’s and totally lived up to the potential. The owner was so personable and welcoming and theatmosphere was more than fun and inviting. Will definitely be back! Had an excellent meal and would recommend the restaurant to anyone. Creative menu, though limited. The chef does a great job.... Server was not very talkative, but he provided good service. Nice atmosphere too. We were just passing through Charlottesville,so we chose Orzo by chance. We were glad we did. Read more

Ended up here unexpectedly. Wow! What a great place. The atmosphere was nice. The service, from Katherine, was spot on…perfect... timing and attention on everything. We had the Summer Risotto and the Peasant Pork and Beef Pasta and both were delicious andfull of flavor. We topped it off with a Tiramisu which was one of the best that we have had in a long time. If we lived here, itwould be one of our top places for dinner. Read more

One of the best restaurant experiences I've had. Took a party of 10 here for a celebration after my wedding. The wait staff was... great. Food was amazing. Seriously. The best pasta dish I've ever had (the Bolognese). Everyone enjoyed their meals. And eventhough we were pushing our dinner past closing the staff was polite and did not rush us out of the restaurant. Would definitelyreturn. Read more

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a clean resturant. I enjoy having an open kitchen and you can watch them make your meal. We... had the spaghetti pomodoro and the Speing Orchettie. Both were flavorful and seasoned well. Read more

We were so lucky to get two seats at the bar for dinner here on a Monday night. The food, service, and ambiance is amazing. I... had the braised lamb with orzo and figs from their special rotating menu and my husband had the pasta bolonasge and we sharedthe grilled halloumi cheese. Everything was great but the lamb was by far the best. The bartender gave me a great winerecommendation too. I wish I had a second stomach to eat more. Definitely make a reservation, especially on Mondays, as thisis a very popular restaurant. On Mondays many restaurants in Charlottesville are closed so Orzo is one of the few sit downdinner options making it even more important to have reservations as their patio is the only option for walkins and it is notheated. Food - 5 Atmosphere - 4 Service - 5 Value - 5 Orzo is one of Charlottesville’s highlights. The way their entrées are... complemented is smart and well executed; nothing feels that it is added for thin presentation value. Perfect cook on the porktenderloin, perfect braise on the lamb special, great temperature control all around. The desserts were very much to my likingas well, much more subtle in their sweetness and beautiful textures. I’ve never had a rosemary olive oil cake before and I amnow a fan. Flying colors on service. Although the price is a bit more than your standard fare, it is certainly proportional tothe quality. Read more
