Very tasty and prompt service. We had their Thai Samosa (pic), Chicken Satay (pic), and That Spring Roll (pic) for starters. All... were great. I preferred the chicken but vegetarian wife loved the other two. Other three pics are Ka Pow Tofu, Bangkok Bay, anda chopped chicken stir fry (don't remember name). Wife really liked her tofu, said it was tender without falling apart (likesome other places). I loved the Bangkok Bay with mussels, squid, scallops, shrimp. Homerun! Read more

WONDERFUL THAI FOOD - LOVED IT ????- Quick lunch in Charlottesville at PINEAPPLES THAI KITCHEN exceeded expectations! Bright... airy modern space, clean interior and cool outside patio serving great Thai specialities. AMBIENCE- we enjoyed lunch heresitting outside, def a popular spot! Would I take a first date here? Probs not, but definitely a 3rd or 4th date!!! ???? FOOD -best Thai food we have had outside of Manhattan, loved everything we ordered (see pics) SERVICE - waitress was great, veryprompt service, timely food delivery. Bonus points for bringing iced water as soon as we sat down thank you ????????. WINE/BEER- well thought out drinks list with good choices for both beers and wines SUMMARY - Charlottesville has a burgeoning ethnicdining scene, but PINEAPPLES THAI is 100% worth a visit, some of our food was quite spicy, which we love, but check with thewaitress prior!!! Best thai food in Charlottesville?I love Thai food and I tried every Thai restaurant in town and I love pineapple Thai so... much. Their green curry is really delicious and spicy! Red curry with duck also really good. Drunken noodles is phenomenal, fresh and tasty. Chicken satay is $8 but have a lot pieces and the peanut butter sauce bring the chicken to another level! TheirThai tea is good too! Want to try all the items on the menu in the future. Read more

We ordered carry out for the first time from Pineapples Thai for lunch this past Sunday. The food was ready right on time and... still quite warm by the time we got it home. The restaurant is well lit and beautifully decorated. Lots of vegetarian options asit appears almost every dish can be made with tofu instead of meat. The Pik Sod Tofu and Pad Thai with tofu were our 2 favoritedishes. The Pik Sod comes with lots of jalapeños so beware of the spiciness. The Pad Garlic Tofu was a little bland and theFried Veggie Gyozas were not to our liking but we would definitely order from their again. We ordered brown rice in place ofwhite rice which was delicious but we were surprised to see that the containers were only 3/4 full of rice which left us short alittle rice. We were happy to see the server wearing a mask. The online ordering system was very easy and we appreciated therange of options when placing our order. We didn?t get a chance to have a drink but that full-bar seemed inviting and lookforward to eating there in person in the future. Read more

Very big servings, very delicious vegetarian options. I had the Spicy Roasted Tofu Basil. We shared Avocado Fresh Roll.. the... Tamarind Peanut sauce was ok, a little heavy on the sweet side but otherwise all over great appetizer. Read more
