Absolutely loved this place!! I have never had raw oysters before and tried two fire lake oysters and fell in love. Food was... delicious and we had a good time sitting at the bar and talking with our server John and Kirby! Kirby opened up so many oystersin front of us during our meal. My daughter and I wound up in Charlottesville by happenstance and have just fell in love with this town. Public Fish and Oyster... has been an utter delight - so we had to go twice. If you have the chance, find a seat at the bar during happy hour. The servicewas fabulous, conversation with fellow guests wonderful.
