Holy hell this place just needs to close. We were sat at a dirty table, the hostess just kept walking back to the deserted... dining room huffing about how all the tables were dirty but didn?t make any effort to clean them or ask anyone to clean them.Fries came out cold, never received another order after reminding them multiple times (so much for bottomless or I would havesettled for 1 order of ones that weren?t cold and hard as a rock) the burger was the only thing that wasn?t terrible. Walked in at 4:45 with 2 people waiting, quoted me 20min "but it probably wont be that long". Came back 25 min later to be told... "we have a few parties leaving now so you'll be seated soon." Another 20 min later, "you are 3rd in line to go back" Excuse me?!We left, walked right in to Riverside, and were sitting there eating when I get a text that our table is ready. Super disappointed. Drove an hour from Lynchburg to go to Red Robin to celebrate my wife finishing up a semester of her... doctorate program. They told us it?d be half an hour before we were seated, so we walked around the mall and came back a halfhour later. They then told us that it?d be another 15-20 minutes at least. We also noticed a handicapped couple waiting in thelobby still, who had been there since before we showed up the first time. This was right before someone from the kitchen cameout to tell the hostess that they were running out of food. So we left and went to five guys. Read more

I have to intimate that this particular experience was rather disappointing. I am a fan of Red Robin, but that experience is... coming from Florida, not Virginia. I have only recently moved here. This particular experience was disappointing in that theyare very understaffed which is proving to be the norm in the food industry here. The food was everything I expected it to be.The service however, ... How to put it gently...????...was fairly in the toilet, as it were.???? We waited an extraordinaryamount of time considering the place was almost completely empty. I believe they had one customer before we entered. Istruggled with the two or three-star rating for this experience, and had to go with the two because the only positive aspect ofthe visit was the food. ...???? Perhaps two and a half Stars would be more fair. The shoe string onion rings were absolutelyspectacular. I have not had any like that since I lived in the Boston area. The burger I had was well prepared and tasty. The sweet 'tater fries were damn good! They were the perfect size and cooked to... crispiness. The service was attentive while not being imposing. The beer selection there is mediocre at best. They don't servemany craft brews. It's mostly mass market lagers like Coors, Miller, Bud, etc. Read more

Friendly experience..our server was attentive to our needs and checked back often. Place was pretty much empty, but had to wait... to be seated (?) 10+ minutes, Due to some Covid excuse. Food was served hot and seemed fresh and arrived quickly. My visit tooka turn after visiting the restroom. That experience left a sour place in my visit. Made me seriously question the cleanliness ofthe rest of the restaurant. Everything was good up to that point. I rated 4 stars, but could have easily been 3.
