Don’t sleep on this place; it’s great. The sweet and sour chicken was superb. Kid’s menu is limited and the chicken... tenders were just over cooked nuggets, but everything else was great. Read more

Overpriced, service was bad, they clearly didn't give a darn...sushi good but Asian dishes sub par at best. What happened to... the yummy pork fried rice that actually has real pork and onions and peas?? Spare ribs were all fat had been there for a longtime, the bones were grey and breaking apart. We love Tea House! Ordered a medley of these small dishes; egg drop soup, miso soup, fried chicken wontons, lo mein noodles,... cucumber roll, avocado roll, fried rice, fried vegetable dumplings. Everything ordered was fresh and tasted really great!Service is superb! Would recommend! Read more

Went in to sit down and have a meal with two little ones when asked if I had placed a order I told them no we wanted to dine in.... Was told they were not open for dine in only taking to go orders which there were two other families sitting and eating. When Iasked why they said because they have to many take out orders. Which I didn’t see the difference in sitting and eating andhaving a pick up order. Would not recommend. Read more

Order wasn't fully complete when I arrived. It was missing two items. I was asked to wait an additional amount of time, which... sure...stuff happens. However, about 5 minutes later my order comes out, but includes an item I didn't order, crunchynoodles. The crunchy noodles on the menu are an additional 50 cents. I made the descision to not order them, as I typicallydon't eat them even when included with the soup. I was told the noodles came with the soup. When I asked for clarification, thatindeed it was an upcharge, the man working explained that most people don't realize they charge for the noodles and are upsetwhen they don't get them, so they "just put them in." I confirmed an additional time that I was charged for the noodles Ispecifically didn't want or order. He responded with "fine. If you dont want them, give them to me and I will give you 50cents." Keep in mind I already paid tip which was paid before I saw they charged me for an item I didn't order. In the end, Ihad to ask to get all the items I ordered added to my pickup, and then they snuck in an item I never ordered and charged me forit. The food is just ok, it isn't the best at all, but also not the worst I have had. I would however highly recommend otherrestaurants in the Charlottesville area yo get your Chinese food orders. Especially as they are less likely to sneak in chargesfor unwanted items. Read more

We absolutely love Tea House and would practically starve without them. Some of the best Chinese food ever, and we’ve fought... enough in our house over the leftovers that we now just order enough for a full dinner AND lunch for our whole family! Such agreat asset to the limited Crozet restaurant scene. As vegetarians we usually order General Tso’s tofu, Homestyle Bean Curd, and veggie fried rice with tofu added, and it rarely disappoints. Eat here often please, and help us keep it here forever!! Read more

Ordered 3 items for takeout. Sadly noticed I was only given two of the three. Drove all the way back with my original... order/receipt and was called a liar for their mistake. Left the 2 items I got from my order with them, lost out on almost 30dollars, and am never going back. Edit: 1 star to 3. The owner called back to apologise. The missing item was, in fact, givento another customer. They refunded my money back in full. Still wasn't the experience I wanted to go through in the first place, but appreciated the follow up after they found concrete evidence that I did not have the item. Read more
