This place was great and we will definitely be back. The menu selection was huge, the portions were pretty large, the flavor was... amazing, price was reasonable, and the staff was awesome. It is nice to have more authentic Chinese restaurants on the islandinstead of the North Americanized food that typically plagues the island. Overall a very pleasant experience. Keep up the goodwork! From Vancouver and we have so much Chinese food there so our Chinese food standard is pretty high. Did not expect much from this... Buen Amigo ???? but was pleasantly surprised. Dishes came out together at a good speed. The food was also tasty, authentic andlots of "wok air" ?? which is a good thing, you can hear the gas sound really go like vooooo!! when they are cooking. Can say, definitely a fair price for good food, but taxes are high if you haven't been to the Maritimes before. About 15 parking spotsup front of the restaurant, more than enough for the size of the restaurant , so if all parking spots are taken that means youare not getting a seat inside anyway. Recommended, and will visit again the next time we are in Prince Edward Island. Read more

This is where you could get authentic mainland Chinese food! The owner is super friendly and helpful in recommending dishes.... Very nice but busy place. Do have to wait a bit for the rush hours. But truly worth it. Every bite is just delightful. Read more

Food was average for a small town Chinese restaurant but the service was somewhat lacking. Despite a large menu, we had to be... told separately, three times, that the specific dish we wanted wasn't available that day. Frustrating to have to let the waiterleave, decide on a new dish, then be told to choose again...it would've made more sense to just tell all customers in thebeginning that 1/3 of the menu was unavailable. Also, one person in our group suffered from terrible stomach pain and vomitingafter this the same day - no evidence that food here was the cause, and we did all have a bunch of seafood+heat exposure aroundthe same time, but still, just a precautionary warning for those weak to spicy/oily foods. The restaurant does not try to impress with its decor, ambiance or service. It does present you with authentic Chinese cuisine... in its simplest form. All the ingredients are highlighted and accentuated by customary Chinese ingredients and flavors. Look atthe menu and try something a little different, it may surprise you. Read more

The store offers rice noodles during lunch time, and the quality is definitely top notch even compared against some of the... popular rice noodle equivalents in Toronto. The staff is super helpful and courteous, and if you have been clam digging or wenton deep sea fishing , you can call the store to inquire about cooking your catch for you. Read more

I?m from Toronto, all small town Chinese food are disappointments, except this one, way above my expectations. Five stars for a... small town Chinese food restaurant. A bit salty though, otherwise, very authentic and tasty. Read more
