The location is great, service is great but the food was just okay. We ordered chicken and mushroom pies with mashed potatoes.... The pies had a piece of puff pastry sitting on top rather than a crust, and it was impossible to cut while sitting on the dish.We had to put it on the side of our plates, and even then it was difficult to cut with a knife and fork. Additionally, themashed potatoes were tasteless, even adding salt couldn't make them more flavourful. The chicken and mushrooms were very tasty. Read more

Don't know why we haven't been going to the Churchill Arms more often. After choosing other restaurants lately we will now be... making Churchill our "go to" restaurant! A cozy restaurant and charming atmosphere and of course lots of Churchillmemorabilia. It has a great menu with lots of very tasty curries in all sorts of different formats including nachos andquesadillas as well as the more traditional presentations. And of course, other non-curry menu items as well. Food was supertasty, served quite quickly by friendly staff. Prices were very reasonable. Just a wonderful place for a relaxing lunch! Read more

Nice wait staff and owner/manager? GREAT CURRY FRIES!!! We went for trivia and as Americans we are confused why there were no... rules, really long wait times for questions, only 20 questions (2.5 hours) and no microphone. But alas we had fun and I won afree beer! Read more

Great menu and atmosphere. I ordered a Ceasar salad and added chicken. Fast service and staff was amazing. We loved this place.

Out of this world! The fish and chips are second to none. The homemade korma curry is off the chain. If you put a spoonful of... this korma on top of your head, your tongue would beat your brains out to get to it! The chicken tikka nachos were on point. Read more

Fish and chips are amazing and the portions are very generous. One piece of fish filled the entire plate! Nothing was greasy,... the batter was so light and crispy and perfectly done. I had a side of mushy peas which were good, but the side curry sauce forfry dipping blew me away with the flavour. True British style food. You won?t be disappointed! Read more

So many positive reviews about the korma. Here is another. This place is a go-to anytime I am in Ch?Town. It has a good pub... feel and really great service. The menu is what you would expect in an English-style pub and the curries do not disappoint. Thelunch version of the chicken korma is what I have posted in the photo. Not too sweet and the naan and jasmine rice are perfectwith it. Also, good fries! Read more

And if you still want seafood, my partner had the lobster club and it wasterrific! Read more
