I have been going to Lai Thai for at least 5 years now and I have never once been disappointed! The food is amazing with great... flavour and just the right amount of spice that you ask for. The portions are fantastic and I always have leftovers for the nextday! Also, I love the casual environment of the restaurant if I choose to eat in & the family who owns this place have alwaysbeen so pleasant! Just flew into Charlottetown from Toronto and thought we'd get something low key to bring back to the hotel. This place was... amazing. Many restaurants say their authentic and disappoint, but not Lai Thai. All the meals we had were perfectly spiced andvery flavourful! Recently moved to Charlottetown and was looking for a new Thai restaurant - thought I would give this place a try. Was somewhat... disappointed. And while the quantity was very generous and the meal was reasonably priced, my red curry chicken was quite grainyand curdled - like they had used coconut milk way past the expiry date. It also lacked some of the seasoning that you normallyget in a traditional Thai curry dish like lemongrass, ginger and coriander.
