have been a regular for a long time, enjoyed their food with reasonable price. recently I got invited to try their new creative... dishes. OMG, they are so amazing, the ribs full of flavours, smoky, and off bones easily. the fish is golden color with a hintof spicy and stunning exotic sourness. But i am not sure if they will put new dishes into the menu, at least I tried and loved.HAHA. I highly recommend chef to add them into menu. PLEASEEEE! Read more

Mad Wok is the perfect spot to go for a fast, hearty lunch during work. The staff is friendly, the service is quick (if they are... not super busy), and the food is always delicious! So happy I've discovered this location. I'll be making this part of my weeklyroutine for sure! Read more
Passing through Charlotetown we were looking for a quick bite. Mad Wok offers decent selection of soup, small bites, stir fry... with rice, fried noodles, fried rice and bold szechuan dishes ($11.29-$15.29) on its menu or you can make your own dish bychoosing from a base of 5 rice, noodles & tofu items ($6.99) then add a protein from a choice of 9 items ($2.89-$4.29), choosefrom selection of 15 vegetables (79 cent@) and a sauce from choice of nine. We made our own dishes: one with noodles, chickenand veggies and the other with rice, beef and veggies. They were both tasty and good size but the amount of beef in the beefdish was rather scant. It is my worst day in PEI because of the front desk Chinese girl with yellow short hair in this restaurant. Tonight, my friends... and I had dinner in Madwok. Yes, by the way, the name is absolutely right, driving customers mad and work completely. Actually,we ordered four dishes, but the front desk girl missed one beef dish. Ok, that?s fine. But when I asked her for more empty bowlsto share meal. She told me none with super bad attitude and rolled her eyes at me when she heard this requirement. And let ushave meal only by existing ones. As a restaurant, they did not have empty bowls for customers to use. Kidding on me? That was soridiculous. The girl?s attitude really got me back up. Then another guy took three bowls from back and gave me. The girl shoutedto her colleague and spoke mandarin very fast about this matter. Sorry about my poor mandarin, I could not hear clearly. I wasshocked by her. But obviously this was driving her mad and angry as well. Later she served with other people with fake smiles.One question, am I wrong or does she treat Asian look differently? Secondly, the price was very weird, I ordered one hot potwith beef and chicken. But why the front desk girl charged me extra CA$3.29. From the price list, it should be CA$1.5 or CA$3.0(if she misunderstood). This was calculated by myself. The front desk girl only gave me credit card copy not order copy. When Iasked for that, she printed out reluctantly and another Indian guy said that was system problem, even they told me their boss?scellphone number and let me contact by myself. I was astonished by that. I did not know why she worked here. She was verydisgusting because she destroyed my day and I felt super angry tonight.
