The service was good. It was one server taking care of everyone so I gave her a break for forgetting to take our drink orders... and serving someone else their drink and food first before us, while arriving after us. My over easy eggs were overcooked andthe portions are small compared to a lot of other dinners I've been to. But the house made corned beef hash was delicious. Stopped in for breakfast on our way to visit Treehouse Brewing. Breakfast was excellent and service was great. I had the Polish... omelette and my wife tried the homemade corn beef hash and blueberry pancakes. This will definitely be our regular stop whenvisiting the area. Read more
This is a great diner for breakfast/lunch, and even dinner! We usually go after church on Sunday?s but they are also open a... couple evenings a week. We went last Friday night. They have amazing specials like American Chop Suey and Beef Stroganoff. OnFridays, they also have seafood! No place is always perfect but we have never had a bad meal at the Yankee Diner in Charlton!Very friendly staff too! Read more
The chowder was so salty we couldn't eat it; another batch was finishing, so we took one to go. Much less salty, but still too... salty for us. They are open for dinner for Friday Fish Fry. Prices were reasonable compared to most places. My feef and noodleswere very good, gravy not too salty. Read more

I was driving through from Connecticut and passed by this diner. I placed an order but my card wasn?t working. The owner comped... my meal for me and the two waitresses, Dana and Holly we?re so welcoming and kind! The food was delicious and the coffee wasreally good! Super clean bathroom! ( I think that?s important especially during this time). Definitely make a stop in and enjoythe great food and super cozy atmosphere! Thank you again for a great morning/start to my road trip.
