Service A+. Thomas did his best to muddle through English to help us. The salmon poke bowl left a lot to be desired. According... to the menu it was missing carrots, red peppers and edamame and wasn’t supposed to come with rice. The General Tao bowl camewith loads of fried chicken bites. For the price paid, I don’t recommend those choices. Perhaps their other supper dishes arebetter. Read more
Terrible dinner at this Normandin after a 12hour drive. The service was so terrible. Ordered the goose pie (see picture) and got... the most disgusting emaciated plate of food. It wasn't even closing time to say they were running out of food. Yes, my frenchisn't the most fluent but I was doing my best, but that no reason to not bring me pepper, salt, butter or ketchup, expecting meto keep asking for each. Also food plated were mixed up. Did I mention the restaurant was not busy. My husband and I were thelast people. In the restaurant because we sat waiting for her to return to check on us, didn't happen, waited and waited for herto come somewhere near us so that we can ask for our bill. Didn't happen, so we decided to walk to the take out counter to paythat person! She steps out of a nook with a look of surprise, proceeds to bring a bill that isn't shown to me but keys theamount into the debit machine and then has the audacity to ask how much tip I want to give ?????????????????????????????????.Definitely not my usual Normandin experience, definitely not coming back to this location. Worst place ever. Don't bother going there. Waitress did not come to take our order for a while. When we go the food the sides... were on the wrong plates. Did not check to see if we had all we needed. We had to ask for condiments which was brought halfheartedly. Asked for the bill and waited and waited. When we went to pay at the front she asked how we were going to pay, shekeyed in the amount and asked how much tip we wanted to add ????. Told her to give us the machine and we would do it ourselves. I am not a local, travelling through your town, be hospitable. I don't speak your language, help me order the food. Very rideservice. Normadin corporate needs to step in and clean this place up to avoid damaging their reputation. Fortunately, I had agood experience at the Normadin at Rivire du loop. Was very frustrated. Read more
Stopped here for dinner after 2 weeks of traveling to the East Coast and back and having spent the day visiting Montmorency... Falls and Vieux Québec in the middle of a heat wave. We were tired and hungry after battling traffic on the bridge hoping tomake it before they closed. We made it with 45 minutes to spare. Staff were very friendly. Seated us right away. We didn't haveto wait long to receive our food. There was an error with my son's order but our server offered to redo it and the correct orderwas served very quickly. Thank you! Read more

Very good omelette. So this is what hollandaise sauce is supposed to taste like! And the strawberry shortcake. Yummy!
Friendly staff. Slow on getting back to ask if we want anything else. Also slow in getting our lukewarm meal. Salmon Poke bowl... was very good though. Most expensive on our cross Canada trip but perhaps that is the norm for Quebec. It was the only place westopped so we couldn't compare to elsewhere. Read more
