Ate here at 7/10/2022 around 330pm. Daughter got a sloppy joe burrito, wife and I got the steak burrito. Then for the night we... cooked at camp and ate the same thing. The next day daughter got food poisoning, vomiting, cramps, fever. We think it was fromthe Sloppy Joe. I am posting this in the event others who ate there had similar exp can see this. SO.GOOD. We love stopping at the Corner Store when in the area. Love the create your own burrito or burrito bowl option. They... have fresh ingredients to add to your burrito. They even have a gluten free burrito shell. The Whoopie pies are a must get evenif you have to save it for later! Staff is friendly, and highly recommend if you're in a rush to order ahead online. The food is good but anyone with food allergies or celiac disease should not go here. Not only are the young staff making the... burritos not trained on how to handle food properly to avoid cross contamination, but the entire burrito making process is crosscontaminated to begin with. This was my experience: I told the young person at the counter that I have a wheat allergy and askedthem to change their gloves. He refused to change their gloves until I told them what type of burrito wrap I wanted. If they'dlistened or been trained, they'd know that a bowl would be my only option because of the wheat allergy. As I watched the processI saw that they used gloved hands to pick up ingredients from the containers after touching the burrito wraps and used the samegloves for all customers. Read more
Extremely impressed, I live in a place with a high Hispanic population, I have high requirements and I am very picky when I... comes to Burritos or Hispanic food.
