Great ice cream. It's hard ice cream but on the softer side. I had the vanilla bean speck which has a strong vanilla bean flavor... and good creaminess. On ice cream alone I'd give it 5 stars since it's one of the best vanilla beans I've had. However, thereare no samples (hard to know what to get without trying), you can't split scoops (must get the biggest 2 scoop size to try tokinds), there is no bathroom, and it's cash only. So lots of inconveniences but great ice cream. Worth a stop if you know whatyou want or are willing to take a chance given it will likely be good. Go to the location in Orleans instead? the staff is much friendlier. The owner/manager made a snarky comment about us wearing... masks in the store (we are still in a pandemic and the CDC changed it?s guidelines because of an outbreak that happened on CapeCod). He was extremely unfriendly and people who came in after us were served first. I wish we had just walked out. I have beencoming to this location for years but after this experience I do not want to come back. I am very fussy about ice cream. My friends and I decided to go to Emack & Bolio?s because they have some unique, fun flavours.... I got Beantown Buzz and Blueberry Crumble, and both flavours were amazing. It was a little expensive (Over $6 for 2 scoops) butit was worth it, because the size was decent and the quality was great. Also, this is the cleanest ice cream place I?ve everbeen to. And, the girls who were working there were very nice :) Read more
I've come here for years, and the ice cream has always been good. There's outdoor seating. Location wise, it's within walking... distance of all other stuff in the Chatham Center. The reason I'm removing a star is because the owner always has an attitudeand if he could just be slightly more polite it would be great. Read more
The ice cream is pretty good here and the guy working there (who I assume is the owner) was nice and very attentive. The layout... is strange because when they go to scoop the ice cream they disappear behind an unfortunately windowless wall, and the overallvibe feels a bit ?sterile? but the ice cream is good. Worth trying if you keep getting the same other places over and over. It?snice also to be able to get away from the busy-ness of the main street, as this place is set a bit back from the road. Excellent ice cream chock full of delicious ingredients! My vanilla had real vanilla beans and Mom?s almond joy had coconut ice... cream, almonds and chunks of dark chocolate. Look for the cone on Main St and follow the signs and sidewalk back to the shop.Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! Read more
