The food was very good. It is the first time ever that my burger was cooked to my satisfaction. I always ask for a medium rare... and it always seems like it comes more medium to well done, but the Blue Plate is definitely on point. Unflavored food. The sweet potato and chickpea had no flavor at all. The beet salad the beets were hard and just arugula thrown... in there with no dressing. The smashed potato had no salt. Read more

Had a wonderful dinner there Saturday night. Great atmosphere, love the music, friendly knowledgeable staff, good vegetarian... menu options and the specialty drinks were unusual and tasty. Oh, and a HUGE ice cream sundae for dessert! Highly recommend! Read more

Had a great dining experience at the Blue Plate in late March. Wonderful atmosphere (make sure to check out the cozy bar area... downstairs), pleasant and friendly service and exceptional food. Very enjoyable surroundings, nice decor and not loud so easyto have dinner conversation. I had the trout filets and they were cooked to perfection with a nice light lemon butter sauce. Make sure to save room for dessert, especially the hot fudge sundae with the best hot fudge sauce you will ever have. Read more
So happy to have my home town restaurant open again. Try some comfort food with the meatloaf, and don't forget the hot sundae... at the end. Be prepared if you have a larger party, rez are not accepted and tables are on the smallish side. It can be tightdining when busy.
