I was wandering about Chatham when I visited Ontario a while back when I visited Canada on vacation. I was hungry for lunch,... however being a Muslim meant that getting halal food was not as easy as I would've wanted it to be, and then I found thisplace. Not only was it halal but the food was great too! I low how freshly made and grilled everything, far more refreshing thanhaving to eat stale frozen vegetarian meals or fast food. I was please to know that the owners of the place also happen to bethe relatives of a classmate I was acquainted with for a long time. The meal was very satisfying in portion size and price,delicious and juicy. I recommend anyone o go grab a bite when you are hungry for a burger or if you are a Muslim like me cravingsome tasty halal food while on the go. Read more

I was on Chatham street and saw this burger restaurant and was very hungry so i had to stop by. I was informed that they sell... halal burgers so I tried 3 different meals with them. Double bacon Cheese burger, Gyro sandwich & Chicken wings. I was reallyimpressed by the quality of bun, burger, spices and how fresh everything in the restaurant was. Staff were very cool andfriendly with me. Prices are also good according to the quality of meat. Very juicy and delicious burgers. Perfect halal treat. Extremely cheesy mozzarella sticks and the wings were amazing too. Not too spicy and not to sweet, just... right! Super clean and super friendly staff. Definitely my favourite burger joint. Read more
I was just mind-blown by " Backyard Burgers' " burgers. Fresh french fries. Freshly cooked juicy and spicy burgers. Poutine HAS... to be one of my favourites. To be very honest, Backyard burgers and more is one of the best burger restaurants in Chatham @ St Clair Street. It has... accessible parking when i got there during the day. Atmosphere was cool, place was clean and tidy when i last visited, staffwere very friendly and had their gloves on while cooking, fresh cooked burgers and fries which i have witnessed with my eyes.All of the fpod served in the restaurant is completely halal 100% as it is managed by Muslims. *I have confirmed with theowner*. Prices are reasonable compared to other burger restaurants and burgers were very juicy. I have personally tried thebackyard poutine which blew my mind as it consisted of ground beef with fried mushrooms, fresh cut onions and fresh fries. Ihave also tried their specialty buger "backyard burger" as it was very filling. It took the staff only 7 minutes to get my foodready which is very reasonable keeping in mind that everything is fresh. I definitely recommend visiting it and giving it a try.8/10 overall and wish if there was more room to dine in so i could get all of my colleagues to have lunch or dinner togethersomeday. Read more
We were not disappointed. We were greeted as we entered into the restaurant from very happy staff. The owner even made sure to... have conversation with each customer that came in. They have a nice assortment of burgers/sandwiches both beef and chicken. Thecombo classic cheeseburger, fries and drink was delicious served fresh from their grill in short order. The burger wasflavourful and cooked to perfection.The fries were served hot and were plenty to share with my hubby.. probably some of the bestI've had. Was really looking for a restaurant that served HALAL burgers especially beef and was extremely hard to find one nearby. I am a... food lover and for sure go on attack mode if all food was halal. Thank god I found Backyard burgers and more and met the ownerswho are all Muslims. Serving all halal food not just burgers. Honest review: Their fries are all fresh potatoes cut in front ofthe customer. Restaurant is clean and hygienic. Staff are very quick in serving the customer and ensure that whatever they putin the food, matches the customer?s demand. Nothing more, nothing less. Restaurant is small in size, which means that it won?tbe able to handle 50 customers at a time, just 20. 7.5/10 experience and would come back again to enjoy more food. Read more
