Best place in Chatham to have Indian food. Very nice people. Very neat and clean place.I ordered food for takeaway but they let... me sit in the restaurant until my food was ready. I was at other Indian restaurant few moments ago and asked them if I can waitinside because it?s raining outside but they did not let me sit . I canceled my order right away over there and came here. My son and I have been trying out all the different restaurants recently that appear on Doordash. My son made sure we waited to... have lunch today because the Kurry Houzz doesn't open until 1pm. We spent time reviewing our order for three people plus a fewextras in case others in the house wanted to try some things (6 person house hold) and placed the order. Then he receives amessage, after payment was taken, advising that his order had been cancelled. He calls the restaurant and they advise that theircook will not be in until 2pm. They also advised that even though they take payment automatically, he will need to wait 5business days to receive his money back. This is ridiculous. The money should be returned automatically and Doordash (whoreturned my son's money right away) should have been notified that orders cannot be processed until 2pm. I called the restaurantto complain at which time I was advised that the only person in restaurant was the person I was speaking to and she could nottake my complaint but she would have the owner call me back. When he did call me back (1 hour later) he spent the entire timecutting me off and yelling at me! I cannot believe how unprofessional he was. Nothing was his fault, the person who answered thephone was not an employee and he shouldn't have to take my complaints. It ended with me telling him he was unprofessional andhanging up on him because he kept yelling. I would never order from here again although my son is giving him a second chance nowvia Doordash as I type. Read more
Stopped in for dinner before the 70 minute ride home. Small restaurant but very clean. Menu had extensive choices including a... large vegetarian and vegan section. We chose two different vegan curries, a side of rice and naan bread. The entire meal wasdelicious and the spice level was perfect. The portion size seemed a bit small at first but I think it was just thepresentation. There was more than enough for 2 of us and I brought home enough leftovers for one more meal. Price point wasexcellent as the entire meal was under $50. Will definitely make a return visit next time we are in Chatham. Read more
I got their lamb Curry and their chicken wings there is enough food to feed two people. I can say the curry is a little spicy... but to be fair I am very white. it is very delicious anyways ???????? Read more
