I love this place, but can only give it four stars due to two seperate mistakes the employees have made with my order. I ordered... a custom-litre with mix-ins that was half full (my husband brought it up to an employee and it was fixed), and then I bought amilkshake that the employee made with the wrong flavour. Employees didn?t even acknowledge us when we walked in. 3 customers ahead of us, 4 employees however only 1 was serving... customers (one focused on making cones, one making ice cream in back, one doing mobile orders). Waited about 5 minutes andduring that time the first customer hadn?t had their order completed (2 milkshakes, nothing crazy). Realized we would waitanother 15-30 minutes for expensive ice cream and left empty handed. Will try and return when there?s more staff working or lesscustomers. Read more
Ice cream was very good. Staff obviously new and needs more experience but that will come with practice. Amazing number of... choices for topings. Waffle cone was the best I have had. The only problem I can see is the ice cream melts very fast in factand was dripping before I was out the door. Next time I would order it in a bowl and save my shirt. Read more
I stopped in today on the second day of it?s opening. There were only three people working and their Covid measures could have... been better, but it was worth it for the ice cream. I chose a small raspberry ice cream with crumble, fresh raspberries,strawberries, chocolate chips, and toasted almonds. A small was not cheap at 7.95, but all the toppings were free and as muchas you wanted. And when I got home and ate the ice cream I realized it was the best ice cream that I had ever had! It was hardnot to eat the whole thing! Next time I?m in, I?m going to order a large to take home with me. We loved them when we lived in KW, we missed it when we moved back to CK. The guys went above and beyond to help our youngest... have his first ice cream cone! They made sure we had extra napkins and a bowl for when it melts. They defiantly have returningcustomers here!!! In February 2022 my oldest had his 18th birthday. We pre-ordered a traditional cake from a small locallyowned business up the road. A few hours before I was scheduled to pick his cake up I received a call that the weather is callingfor really bad driving conditions and they would not be driving into town for one order. The bakery is run out of their home andI have been trying since 2020 to have them honor a gift card we were given. I am assuming they never made the cake and with onlya few hours before my pickup time they wouldnt be able to honor the order that i place 2 weeks prior. I went to Marble Slab ashis second choice was an ice cream cake. The staff at this location have been awesome every time we've gone in. This time was noexception! The young man who was working helped me pick a pre-made cake from the display, gave me a coupon that went out in theflyers that week and gave me extra coupons for our next visit! While I have some fav's from DQ, this location will continue tobe my first pick for the staff and the products. If I could give more then 5 stars I would!!!! Read more
