The best New Orleans style food I've ever had. Their jambalaya is my gold standard. The hot links are amazing with that brown... sugar BBQ sauce. You can't beat this place for what they do. Read more

I recently came here with a friend of mine and we were both trying it for the first time. He got the chicken sandwich and I got... a four piece fried chicken (white meat) and catfish with hush puppies. My friend thought the chicken sandwich was the best hehad ever tried and miles better than any fast food places that offered it. All the chicken we got was perfectly juicy and friedto perfection, all I can say is excellent. I did joy the catfish and the cornmeal crusted it had was a little hard but stillgreat. The mac & cheese was very good and the fries were amazing. The cornbread was extremely good and went amazing with thehoney they offered. The ladies were very nice and helpful in picking out options on the menu. Overall the food was amazing anddefinitely worth a try if you?re considering it. Read more

I really enjoyed having lunch here. I felt like I was eating at my aunt's house. The extra spicy fried chicken was crispy,... juicy, and the seasoning was spot on with the heat to spice flavor ratio. I had the chicken with slaw, cornbread, and sweet tea.Friendly welcoming service and a relaxed atmosphere, like I said felt like I was at my aunt's kitchen. Read more

Although the food was okay, we were very disappointed. We ordered the white meat only chicken, and paid an extra $7 for that... option; however, half of the 12 pieces were legs and thighs. The corn bread was outstanding and the crayfish okay. Read more

Excellent little spot for lunch or dinner. The staff ladies are extremely friendly and are happy to explain the menu to you. The... food portions are huge; meats are perfectly cooked (ribs come right off the bone) and the sides are excellent (I highlyrecommend the mac n? cheese and the grilled sour dough). Read more

Have you ever found yourself yearning for an unbelievably outstanding meal? Is your life missing a sense of happiness from the... lack of sensation in your taste buds? Do you eat food? If you answered yes to any of these questions, keep reading. If youanswered no, still, keep reading. I'm nearing the end of the menu. Haven't found a meal I did not like. It doesn't matter if Iorder for one, or order catered, it's always phenomenal. I truly love this place. It is an absolute blessing to have this jem inour vicinity. My favorites have to be the smothered chicken. Even the rice it comes with is cooked to perfection, with a flavorthat will have you asking for seconds. The chicken is perfect and the gravy is simply the best. I suggest Cajun popcorn orpopcorn chicken to start. All the sides are terrific but I tend to default to the anyways delicious bbq beans and theirspectacular biscuits. You also must order hush puppies. If your full, order them to go. You'll thank me. You're welcome. See yousoon, and have a fantastic day. Read more

It hurts to say, but this was the most REGRETTABLE food experiences I've had. My family is against letting food go to waste- if... no one wants it, at least let our dog or cats have it - but we ended up throwing out all the sides to the trash. Sometimes foodis "okay, could've been better" or just not your cup of tea, but this was downright horrendous and a waste of nearly $85. Justgo to Popeye's instead. I'm not sure who I'm more disappointed with: those who prepared the food or everyone that's been givingthis place four and five star reviews. We got fried chicken, shrimp jambalaya, chicken creole, chicken sandwiches, and sides(potato salad, toast, yams, greens, and clam chowder). I enjoy trying new cuisines here in the Valley, but I will not ever comeback here - even if the food was on the house - and here's why. First of all, we waited inside nearly 40 minutes for our food. While you look around at the Mardi Gras beads on the chairs and decorations on the shelves, t's hard to not notice the stainedfloors. The linoleum has probably been like that for a long time, despite how many times they mop, but it certainly makes youwonder what condition the kitchen is in. So what right I thought. A lot of buildings in the valley haven't been renovated fordecades. Plus, its expensive and restaurants have overhead and staff to pay. At the end of the day we came for the foodright? Now, the food itself was horrible. If I could describe it with a meme, it'd be the middle aged white guy saying " You're not that guy pal. Trust me, you're not that guy." My mom described the fried chicken as lacking seasoning, smellingfunky, and tasting like it was fried in oil that had not been changed in a long time. My sister, who had a fried chickensandwich, also said it tasted like old oil instead of the spicy Creole seasoning it is described as. My brother and I had theChicken creole and shrimp jambalaya, respectively. It was reminiscent of middle school forcing myself to eat the c Read more
