Ate lunch here. The food was good. I had a lunch bowl with rice, beans, pork, guacamole and other yummy stuff. Was gluten free... and really good. They have a wide variety of rices, beans, proteins, so you can get what you like. It wasn't crowded and theservice was quick. Cheese dip and salsa we're good too. We were seated right away but then sat there for about 15 minutes before our waitress came to our table. Would be nice if you... seat someone that you let the waitress know. We were the only ones in the dining area so should not have had to wait like wedid. However, we waited and must admit it was worth the wait. The food was amazing!! Awesome enchiladas and tacos! We found all selections to be very reasonably priced for upscale Mexican food and the servings... were very generous -- so much so that we regrettably had to pass on dessert. Service was exceptional! If you visit on a hot day,do yourself a favor and order a watermelon margarita before you even look at a menu. Read more
The veggie tamales were basically flavorless. This resulted in them mostly tasting like the corn husk. It was just odd. They... were only edible due to hot sauce. Definitely not worth the price which is per tamale. Best part of the meal was the rice boughtseparately, which kind of had a strange packaged rice flavor. The salsa was good, but the chips very greasy. Our server didn'tbring my drink until the food came out. The speed of getting food was fast, but it did take some time to get our check. I don'tthink the service was entirely the fault of the server who seemed to be handling more tasks than necessary. Best Mexican food in Chattanooga I’ve had!! The chips and salsa they bring when you sit down are phenomenal, and do yourself a... favor and order the queso dip it’s to die for! I couldn’t stop eating their nachos chips they’re so fresh and crunchy.Absolutely loved the margaritas my favorites are the watermelon jalapeño margarita and the frozen blood orange margarita. Thecarne asada tacos and the pork tacos with pineapple are delicious. Great value with prices and quality. I like the indoor decorand vibe and sitting outside on the patio is nice since it’s a busy corner. I’ll be back! Read more

After rolling my eyes at the lowest rated reviews, I had to write a positive one. If I could give Mezcla 10 stars, I would. We... dined on Saturday for lunch and we were able to be seated immediately. The flavors were fresh and rich and the price is veryfair. Our server was intuitive when I spilled my water, and he was attentive to our needs. I ordered the Camarones A La Diabla.It was the perfect heat for me and a wonderful portion. Highly recommend.
