There were 8 of us and we all loved it. Friendly waitress who took care of us and did a great job. The food was fantastic.... Everyone was beyond pleased with what they got. I was so excited to eat I forgot to get a photo before I dug in. For appitizerswe got the Southern Style Egg rolls which were amazing and came with some awesomely tasty dipping sauce. Also the Six SouthernChicken Wings which were picked clean because of how good they were. I got the salmon, garlic mashed potatoes, collard greensand Mac n cheese. I still can't stop thinking about that food. It was just so freaking amazing. That Salmon was fantastic!! It was all so good. I didn't go in with any expectations but walked out throughly impressed. I've visited this eatery on several occasions, whether it's lunch, brunch, or dinner, andevery time, every meal is delicious!!Don't forget the libations!! My favorites are the downtown margarita and the house Moscato.The live music on Friday and Saturday creates the perfect lead-in to the weekend!! The service was okay. I ordered the fried chicken platter, macaroni n cheese, and okra. The fork I received was dirty in the... napkin, and they kept on forgetting my iced tea. I also accidentally got collard greens instead of my okra. But when addressedto my waitress she fixed it in a timely manner. Overall when everything came together the food was spectacular. First time here. I enjoyed this experience with my Sweetie! Late lunch/early dinner Date Day! We had the fried shrimp and grits,... Fried catfish and pork chop with the green beans and oh so Creamy mac and cheese. The bartender Bianca was on point withMargs.... downtown girl, the mango one and one with Peach!!! This restaurant had a very nice vibe to it. There was a live DJ playing a mix of old and new Hip-Hop songs which the crown... occasionally sang in unison. The servers were all very attentive, including our main server Toya (I think) was awesome. Our foodwas brought out in no time and it was so delicious. Highly recommend Six18. Read more
Stopped for a drink before event at Memorial, less than a block to walk. Drinks were good, minimal IPA beer selection for hubby.... Happy hour prices with a few food items included. Read more
The restaurant is Black-owned and easy to find. Our server, Brittani, was pleasant, answered our questions about the menu and... served with a smile. The food was flavorful, nicely plated and hot when placed on the table. Nice ambience and the music playingwas at an enjoyable level. Read more
