We just moved here from South Carolina. We used to love steak ?n shake there, but this one is nowhere near the same quality.... First of all, anything that could have been wrong with our order was. When we got to the window we were handed a milkshake towhich we told them we didn?t order. The girl at the window tried to tell us we did, so then my husband repeated our order toher. She then read off our receipt and confirmed our order, then immediately proceeded to hand us another incorrect drink. Wedidn?t want to argue it again so we just accepted the sprite instead of a coke. We should have checked the bag after receivingtwo wrong drinks, but our baby was screaming in the backseat so we just wanted to head home. We got home to see that we receivedthree sandwiches instead of the two burgers we ordered, we had an extra set of fries, and no bbq sauces that we had specificallyasked for. We were hungry and didn?t want to go back so we just ate the sandwhiches until we saw hair in one of them (smallblack curly hairs to be exact), this is when we threw the rest of the food away and just made sandwiches at home. Ever been to a Steak & Shake for dinner that wasn't packed full? That should have been a red flag for us. Have eaten at this... location for many years...but won't go there again. Bad service, bad management, and the burgers were incredibly dry. Order wasalso messed up - items were missing. They DID correct it quickly and without question, so that was good. Hopefully they justhad a bad night, but the place being almost empty means people aren't bothering to go there. Read more
Waited upwards of 45 minutes in the drive through with maybe 4 cars in front of me. Finally got to the window and they forgot... half my food, after I told the attendant what we were missing and they made multiple trips. The half of the order they didactually get to us was completely different than what I ordered. Stay away from this location, the pandemic must of screwed ithard. Read more
Placed an order online prior to 10:30pm for the purposes of not waiting in line, said it would be ready 10:46pm. Arrived at... 10:45pm and the doors were locked. Thanks to having already paid online, it was either sacrifice the money or get in the drivethru line. Received the food after sitting in line until 11:20. Cold and sad. Outrageous that they locked out the customers thatthey requested to prepay. Read more
Very long drive through line. Which seem to not be moving much, which was an inconvenience. But I had kids in the car plus I... love your burgers & the prices are tremendous, so I waited. Read more
Good was not good, service was terrible. The manager rushed us out the door so she could lock it one hour and 8 minutes before... close. Steak and shake is usually one of our favorite ?fast food? restaurants?will not be back to this one. Read more
It was our first time trying the food here, we loved it! The burgers are more thin and crispy. It tastes more like real pressed... beef, compared to Mc Donald's patties. The fries are super thin, but so crunchy and good. We tried the cotton candy shake, ittastes more old fashioned than the cotton candy ice cream you might try somewhere else. It's more subtle, than a strong flavor.But we loved it. Worth trying. I loved all the pictures on the outside of the building. Great experience. Love ?? from Kelseyand Lydia. It really isn?t that hard to get an order right when there are only 2 people in line. We ask for a burger with onions and they... don?t add onions, we ask for sprite and there?s no sprite. And for some reason they added mayo to the burger even tho they saidit was only ketchup? There were 2 people in line. And we only asked for like 4 things, 2 of which were simple drinks. (they getthe order wrong EVERYTIME. There has never EVER been a single time where I?ve ordered from this steak and shake and they gave mewhat I wanted.) Read more
