My fiance, her kids, and I are doing some traveling from Oklahoma to Georgia and we are stopping at places that aren't chain... restaurants. We came across June's to see what it's like. When you walk in, you can immediately tell it was a diner. The foodwas fantastic and in this economy, well priced. The pies were also delicious and all of us got one. First and last time going to June's. Drove an hour to meet my daughter and it looked like it had good reviews but I don't know... who wrote those reviews because their food is horrible!! My wife's chicken fried steak was like shoe leather she couldn't evenchew it and my club sandwich had no flavor whatsoever, it was like eating cardboard. My dad got a Patty melt and he said it wasthe worst one he'd ever had. The waitress never did ask us if we wanted something to drink, we had to ask her if we can getdrinks after we had our food. And then she forgot to bring them. Also my dad is handicap they had no handicap parking in frontno ramps to get in plus their bathrooms you had to go upstairs to get to them and he's in a wheelchair. I would have given themno stars if that was an option. P.S the onion rings were good. Read more
Yum! We read all the reviews about the boneless fried chicken & it did not disappoint. The mashed potatoes were also very good.... Do not forget the pie for dessert! Read more
Judy and I added another locally owned Diner to our list! They had our favorite Diner dish, Hamburger Steak with gravy and... onions, mashed potatoes, a dinner salad and toast! Was quite delicious and the service was great too! Read more
What a lovely small town restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak,with seasoned curly fries and fried okra, and June's did... not disappoint. So good. It also came with a small side salad and toast. Read more
This place had a constant flow of people and I could hear so many talking about the fried chicken. We are vegetarian so our... options were limited. We landed on dinner salads, baked potato and fried mushrooms. All good but not gonna lie - fried chickentenders were never so tempting. Read more
GET THE BONELESS CHICKEN!!!! This place is so cute & always packed when we go. I?ve came back several times just to get the... boneless chicken they?re absolutely addictive! Staff is attentiveness friendly. Definitely worth the try if you are intown! Side note:I do wish their burgers had a bit more flavor. Pepper, onion, or Worcestershire would do the trick. Read more
