Signed up for the waiting list prior to arrival and was sat within 10 minutes. My waitress was great even with seeming new to... the restaurant. These were the highlights. The food how ever was the issue. After waiting the 30-40 minutes for our food, mypartners' steak was over done and BOTH of our food was stone cold. Every item except the mac and cheese was completely coldincluding the dipping butter. The mac and cheese was advertised with Applewood smoked bacon, which you can see from the picturedidn't come with anything but breadcrumbs. My steak didn't even taste like they "boldly seasoned" it non the less salt andpeppered it. I politely asked for the check and informed her our food was cold so I'd like a to go box so I can go microwave itat home. She expressed her apologies and offered to take it back but I told her we didn't wanna wait 30 minutes for new plates.Upon packaging my food I realized I never even got my side salad and didn't bother to ask because at that point I just wanted topay and leave. My food wasn't discounted at all and over all paid almost 100$ for our meal including tip for absolutely coldfood. I was very disappointed seeing the good reviews here.. I won't be going back. Omg. Amazing steaks at super reasonable process!!! Dishes: 12oz ribeye with shrimp, filet with mashed potatoes (sour cream,... cheese, bacon added), 20 oz ribeye with potatoes, kids Mac and Cheese. Bailey was our server! Super friendly, knows her steaks,was amazing. We cannot wait to go back and hope to have her again!! The two toddlers loved her !!!! Read more
Haven't been here since the pandemic started. So gald to be out and have been served by a very nice waitress. She was very busy... but never forgot about us. Always kept us in the loop. In the beginning we were afraid that we were going to get slow servicesince the restaurant was a bit busy but the food came out pretty fast and prefect plating. She was professional, Wow what atreat. Amazing experience, we dined in. They start with bread and butter for all the tables. We started with the wings, the wings were... so delicious they were perfectly seasoned. We both got medium-rare steak, they got them right in point it was tender, jucy andflavorful. I am very happy with this experience. Our waitress was outstanding too, super friendly. With the price of steak so high now in supermarkets, a 9 ounce filet at Longhorn along with a side and salad for $26.99 seems... like a great deal. I went in the early afternoon and ordered from the lunch menu. I chose "Flo's" filet, a loaded baked potato,and substituted asparagus for salad for a buck or 2 more. A smaller 6 ounce steak is available for 4 dollars less, but thatseems more of a lady's portion to me, unlikely to satiate a man's appetite. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Lastweek I ordered the same meal and enjoyed it thoroughly. On this occasion I listened to the server's suggestions for possibletoppings on the steak and ordered what I thought was going to be just a light sprinkling of parmesan cheese. What arrived was asteak completely covered in blue cheese, then sprinkled with parmesan. It reminded me of a heavily frosted cupcake. The toppingitself tasted quite good, but on my next visit I will be returning to the previous order. In my opinion the blue cheese flavoroverpowers the delicate flavor of the filet. Never disappointed when I stop by to eat here. Stopped by for dinner on a Friday night. Was really busy! Thought it would be a... long wait, but i joined the waiting list online ahead of time before driving over to longhorn. Only waited a few minutes for atable. All the food was good. I absolutely love how fresh the salad always taste. Read more
Enjoyed the atmosphere. Food was ok. Med well steak was cooked well done, salad was drenched in dressing. The wild west... shrimp was very good paired with the peppers but we were full by the time it came out after our food. Waiter was unprofessionalif I'd say so. She lifted her leg up on the seat and leaned back on it next to my husband to take our order. There were severalother uncomfortable moments with her throughout the dinner but she did at least get our order correct and tried to correct mysalad with less dressing but there was just to much applied in the bowl and the dressing was very powerful, I could not eat it.
