The Diamond Hawk Golf Course plays host to our Annual Maryvale All Class Alumni Reunion every year. This year the reunion took... place in August 27, 2022 Fred and his employees were outstanding and very accommodating. Our reunions have been very successfuland every year attendance gets bigger. This year we had over 300 people and the staff kept every happy and well served. Agorgeous buffet was also available. The Boys of Summer and DJ Don Hartmetz kept people singing and dancing all night long. Itwas a perfect evening wich can only be achieved with a dedicated staff. They have a great place here. Sat outside for the first time a week ago. It was beautiful!! The wait staff needs some help. We... sat out there about a half hr before someone came for drink order but the 2 waitresses that were out there helped everyonearound us. We had to walk up to one of them and figure out what the deal was. Food is usually always good. Found a piece ofplastic wrapper in my salad this time. Glad I didn't eat. Read more
TL;DR : don't go for "BBQ" and don't go on wed. If you want to hear yourself think. Out with friends who said the mothers Day... brunch was spectacular and DH had redone the menu and dining space. The decor was nice, 10 years ago, dull and dated now.6.00pm and two guys doing the Beatles, in the middle of the room, at a volume I have not experienced since my rock concert days,in almost the right key. I asked to sit us outside and the waitress was excellent. Drinks were had, the weather was nice and wewere sitting in the 9th hole. BBQ platter was ordered, life was good. Platter arrived missing a significant volume of brisketand ribs that had been boiled, sauced, reheated and served. The brisket soup was served Ina small side dish, with a slice ofmeat in it . The smashed taters and asparagus were delicious. Ribs were tasty and fell off the bone, not what you're looking forin bbq. All this for 30$. If you want BBQ, go any where else. The rest of the menu was pub grub and looks good. Drinks werereasonable and good . But the music? If you're going with ppl you don't want to talk to, go for dinner. The end. Read more
There's a reason this course is excellent - the Grounds Crew! *Never once saw someone else's broken tee on their very well... manicured tee boxes. *All fairways were in excellent shape. *The greens are fair and challenging. I would like a discount forall the balls I donated. But apart from that, had a great time. Read more
9 holes of fun golf, a great dinner, and live music. Like an amusement park for golfers! Will definitely visit again.
