My first visit and I am rating this only 2 stars is because of the service. The manager Mani was extremely rude and... unprofessional. There was no empathy in his voice to begin with. I ordered for a veg thaali and 'No we dont have a thaali' wasthe answer. When asked is it on the menu the Manager said the restaurant was in middle of changing their menu card and werestill operating with old card so items were unavailable. His tone was just blunt and abrupt. No sorry whatsoever. I then askedfor a Rava Masala dosa the manager said it WILL take 40 mins so had to decide on other item for which me and my went back andforth on few items. The manager interrupted saying -" did you guys makeup your mind" - absolutely unprofessional. Just fewtables away, there were 2 white couples that Mr. Mani was serving and I could clearly hear the empathy and the change of tone inthe manager's voice. So I clearly felt the biased approach. Towards the end of our lunch my kid wanted to have a dessert andasked another staff for options. The manager gave the menu card to the other staff and told him we can choose from the menu.Remember this menu an old one and many items are no longer available. I hope this review is read by the owner and hope to bringsome change as needed. The food we ordered is OK not great but a better customer service would have made the entire experiencea lot better. Wonderful restaurant and great quality food. We bought bunch of items like mutton biryani, madurai poratta, mutton kothu... parotta, Manchurian, soup, pepper chicken. Everything was amazing and especially the madurai parotta, interestingly it was madefrom scratch. It did not look like paratha from international groceries but real poratta from Tamil Nadu style. The biryani hadto lot of flavor. Great place to stop by and try out their food. Will visit again definitely. Wish they had more traditionalmadras dishes, options were limited. Read more

Food was average. Cut mirchi was good. Mylapore idly tasted good but the masala was not ground appropriately. My vada was almost... burnt. And the worst coffee I have ever had is from here! Absolutely terrible coffee which ruined my whole vibe. Probably won?treturn again Read more

One of the best Indian I have had. The staff is fantastic. The Owner works the tables and greets everyone. The place... always has people in there You in know it?s good when most of the seats are filled by people who are native to the countrywhere the food originates. Read more
