Terrible and a rip off. Just a whole bowl of halfway fried rice with miniscule shreads of chicken spread throughout. Every scoop... had literally one SHRED of chicken. And the basil sauce wasn’t even cooked well into all the rice that’s how much rice therewas. Highly disappointed! Read more

Pork Ribs with Potato (14.95). The owner took my order, and I ordered it extra spicy anyway. She knew that I complained about a... three pepper dish that was just about one pepper, so this time it was EXTRA EXTRA spicy! It was a severe case of a runny nosespicy. I wasn't going to order any rice since it already had potatoes included, but It was soo spicy that I had to order a smallbowl of white rice. It also helped to soak up the delicious sauce. I again had high hopes for this dish and wasn't disappointedwith the tasty and tender pork that fell off the bone. Be aware that there might be bone splinters in the food, but this is kindof expected with anything on the bone. The potatoes were cooked perfectly. Next is the Garlic Pork Rib ($14.95). "Fried porkrib with garlic, red & green pepper, onion, and scallion." No scallions and they were sitting on a mound of lettuce. They weregarlicky, alright! They were also super crispy, but the ratio of meat to bone was overwhelmingly in favor of the bone. I chewedthe meat off all of them and could have had a dozen more, and I'm a light eater Following this is the Chicken with PickledMustard Greens (13.50). "Stir-fried with pickled mustard greens and cilantro in white sauce." No cilantro. The veggies werecooked well, tender but still firm. The dark meat chicken was juicy and tender. The mustard greens were mild and could have beenpickled longer. It was an agreeable dish but a bit too bland for me. I asked for some chili oil and was really glad that I did.The chili oil was delightful, not super spicy but very aromatic. I might ask for it regardless of what I order. Read more

I went to Sichuan palace for dinner on a Friday night with my colleague. We didn't had any reservation but we got a place... easily. We ordered a variety of dishes and I would recommend the Kung Pao chicken and the dry hot pepper fish fry. If you likespicy and hot food then you can definitely try the dry chilli chicken ????. The tea is great and also recommend. We also tooksome white rice ???? which got along well with the poached chicken with chilli sauce ( it's a cold item though). The ambience isgreat and also family friendly. The staff is very good and service is awesome. I will visit this place again. Read more

If you're going here to get regular American Chinese food, like orange chicken, why bother? Every Chinese place in America... serves this, but very few cook Sichuan food! Chemsford is really lucky to have this restaurant, so try something far better thatyou likely didn't even know was an option! One of the key pieces of Sichuan cooking is the "mala" (mah-lah) flavor of sichuanpeppercorns, which is slightly spicy (but not crazy; not nearly as hot as hot Thai or Indian food), and which people say resultsin a slight "numbing" sensation. Unique in the world and absolutely delicious! Try any of these that sound good: -The la-zi(chongqing) chicken, which is like a slightly spicier version of Chik-Fil-A nuggets -Spicy dry pot chicken, beef, or lamb (pickyour favorite), with a side of rice. My personal favorite; I can't get enough. -Chengdu dan dan noodles I hope this introducesyou to a whole new world of Sichuan flavors that most Chinese restaurants don't serve! Read more

A very respectable Sichuan dishes. Menu is long and offers traditional authentic Sichuan fares as well as many others for those... less inclined to the numbing spiciness of the Sichuan fame. A must-visit for anyone in search of good Sichuan eats. Read more

I am reviewing the authentic part of this restaurant. I ordered the cold dish chicken, dry pot intestine and fish filet in chili... oil. I eat Sichuan food quite frequently and this place was just ok. Chicken tasted old and not fresh. The intestines were toughand chewy. Fish was ok but overly breaded. All three dishes were overly salted. Spice level was just right but too salty. Iwouldn't say this is a bad restaurant but I definitely had better. Read more
