Went for lunch a burger $ chicken sandwich. Took almost 40 minutes to get food and fries tasted as if they were fried after... some fish were in fryer. Then took forever to check out. Service was very poor and as stated fries were marginally able todigest. What happened? Used to be a great lunch spot. Probably won?t be back. Read more
My husband and I came here for lunch when they were short staffed and only had 2 people working. The service was still fast and... friendly, and I can't say enough good things about the food! We eat here a couple of times a week & have for a long time. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experiences... dining here. The owners & staff are always super friendly. I love that the owners speak when we come in to welcome us - can?tbeat that local home town feel when you go here to eat. Food is always good, cooked quickly & at your table in a timely manner.They are definitely my favorite place in town to get shrimp. Great flavor & you can?t beat the price ! There is 5 of us so Ilike that the menu gives us options for everything from burgers & sandwiches to shrimp & chopped steak platters to grilledchicken & salads. Something for everyone. Also with 5 of us I appreciate the reasonable prices. You get a sit down meal servedup hot to your table for less than a bagged combo at the nearby fast food places. Much better choice in my opinion !! I believein supporting our local restaurants and our hometown people so don?t miss out on supporting one of the most reasonably pricedrestaurants serving up great food with friendly service all around !! My total was 7.69 for my meal of 2 hot dogs fries and a drink. I put on the receipt that exact amount. Checked my bank account... and 12.69 was debited out instead of the 7.69. That is stealing when I put no tip bc I didn?t eat in and had to wait long time.I want my money back. Employee was Jewel. Watch these employees they don?t have integrity and is dishonest!! Manager was veryrude. He said he don?t give out his name and by corporate employees aren?t made to wear name tag.. but their name is on the bcreceipt. The single star is for friendly service only. The place needs a good cleaning and a lot of other stuff. I have been to another... branch and it was nothing like this. I ordered the shrimp platter with coleslaw and onion rings, and it came within 10 minutes.I would gladly have waited another 20 minutes if it meant getting a proper hot meal. My food was served on a cheap paper plate-the kind you buy bulk at the dollar store! The coleslaw was good. The shrimps were nasty. They were oozing a brown liquid. WhenI asked my server what that was, she said she had no idea and offered no reparation. I did not push because I can imagine theplace is on its last legs. The onion rings were really soaked in oil... like they were fried on low heat or refried from aprevious shift. Prices are fair. Read more
Even with a new waitress the service was great and we agreed that our meal was the best we'd had at that location yet.
