If you're supposed to be open until 9pm - as your advertising and online ads show - then you should not close early before... 8:35p. People go out of their way (as I did) fighting traffic and the weather to get dinner there. I arrived at 8:35p to finddoors locked and no times posted on the front of the restaurant. You ought to try to be at least a little professional. If youcannot be trusted to be open as your ads indicate, what else can you not be trusted on? Very offended by what was written on my sandwich. I ordered through GrubHub. I asked for extra american cheese but couldn't find... the option in the modifiers. Then added cheese whiz, which, as expected, I was charged for. Even in the special instructions onmy receipt, I state that I am perfectly fine with the upcharge. Once I got my sandwich, written on the wrapper it states,"Cheese is extra, whiz is extra. Food costs are not free." Is that what you call customer service? This will be the last time Iever order from this location. Very obviously I was okay with an upcharge. I literally stated that. I had a terrible experiencewith this location the last time I ordered from them and I thought I'd give them a chance to make it up to me this time. Now Iknow. Always love this place. Went with the Dagwood. Did not disappoint. It was huge and messy, as it should be.

Cheesesteaks were super tasty and saved my hungover life the other day. . It was just too expensive. Just me and my girl spent... almost 50 bucks. Two Phillys, and we split one fry, and didn't even get drinks. Then an imposed 20% tip... The fry basket was 5something and it was like 1 potato worth. Probably won't be coming back. Read more

The food is mediocre, but the water is terrible (an Englewood problem) with no bottle option. My biggest complaint however, was... that the cashier helped the recognized customer behind us in line before us without so much as an apology. What's the point of having a phone if you don't pick it up. And when you DO...you say to just come in and order. Not able to... place an order on the phone ? Im on a tight schedule too and walk/ride my bike to your establishment twice, sometimes threetimes a week to eat on my way back from work. Mel is awesome but the way this place is ran sometimes is Mickey Mouse. You'velost a customer forever because you are too lazy to take 1 minute to take a one pepper cheesesteak order. Amazing food amazing customer service. The sandwiches are absolutely delectable. Whenever I am in the area I stop in. I also... mention this place anytime anyone talks about the hampden or south broadway area. Fresh cut fries, the Rueben was thinly sliced,the marble rye was excellent and the corned beef was deli-style no fat. ???? My sandwich was excellent the italian panini. This place is totally awesome! Our office placed a large lunch order and they were so on top it! Had everything ready to go and... were very professional through the whole ordering process!
