What a hidden gem?? This winery was simply delightful! Great variety of locally made wines showing off the fruits and flavors of... the quaint little town! We enjoyed our wine tasting while sitting outside on the lawn, no better way to enjoy! The staff was sofriendly and helpful, it felt like we were being taken care of by a friend! There were even great little snacks for the kids toenjoy while we sampled! Excited to enjoy my bottles we purchased once we are home from vacation! Thank you! Read more
Great setting, selection and the owners are wonderful! I think my favorite was the cranberry wine and I?m not a big fan of... cranberries. The blueberry, peach and raspberry were also delicious! Sunday is sangria day, so we?ll have to go on a Sunday totry that. Read more
My family and I visited while on vacation and we are so sad this winery is not down near us! We have frequented many a winery... and this was easily one of the best! We loved the vibe and felt so welcomed upon entering. We taste tested almost every winethey offered and there was no one wine we did not like! We tried everything from the sweet to the dry. Traveling from NC to Maine on vacation we found Catherine Hill Winery. The Winey and grounds are beautiful, and the wines were... all amazing. Whites, dry reds, sweet fruit wines and wine slushees, something for every wine drinker. Owners were super niceand took time to talk about each of the wines we tried from the tasting menu. I stopped by with a group from University of Maine for a student project supporting and highlighting small businesses. Catherine... Hill Winery is an awesome location with fantastic wine. I did a tasting of their popular blueberry wine and it was actually sogood; a very tasty wine that would pair with any occasion or event. Catherine is incredibly personable and has such an energyfor anyone that walks in. I highly recommend making time to stop by and relax inside or sip & lounge in their outside seatingarea. Read more
