I really hoped to like this place because the prices are good but the only positive thing I can say was that the cashier was... super nice. The vibe I get is that this place used to be a big local hit but has since fizzled out. When I got there on a Fridaynight there were a few very elderly couples. My husband didn't like his sandwich but he's picky. My son however is NOT picky andsaid his spaghetti was gross. The clam chowder tasted weird and definitely came from a can. Locally owned restaurant. Large menu of comfort food moderately price....9 to 15 for most items. Salad bar included with most.... Large portions that I took home for a 2nd meal. Was actually really good. Good quality meat in their baked pasta. Salad bar was... lacking. Salad bar lettuce was watery which... made everything like that but other than that it was great. Good service. Edit: Your new waitress Anna (I think that's her name)is amazing. Super awesome person and made my sons birthday special. She even paid for a piece of pie for him. Doing renovation to home and have no kitchen. Found this gem of a restaurant and eat there almost everyday. Food is excellent... and waitresses are all awesome. Meet the owner Dennis and his nephew from DC, highly recommend this place. Oh yeah portions area good size and prices are reasonable. Read more

Incredible food with great staff, prices were way less then anticipated!! Everything was great with one small exception, our... assigned waitress who seemed to be to occupied with regulars , to be concerned with our drinks, desert requests or bill. It was a good experience overall. We came in an hour before it closed. It?s an old school restaurant and the owner is by the... entrance chatting with friends. My friend and I came in and informed to sit wherever we want. Our server was with us a minuteafter we were seated. She was great and make sure we were taken cared of. After we ordered our food, we went to grab salad andsoup, self served. Salad bar was standard. They have Clam chowder and Beef & vegetables soups. Both were ok. Baked ziti alDennis was good and it was a lot of food. I have to take half to go. It definitely tasted better the next day; I imagined theziti got the time to absorb the tomato sauce. Baked cannelloni al Dennis was good. The melted layer of cheese was too much andheavy for me. I removed half of the melted cheese and finished the dish.
