1st time trying this place and was disappointed.\nOrdered an X-Large, 1/2 pepperoni and 12 garlic knots on Friday evening to... bring over to friend\'s house--told it would be 20 about minutes. After about 20 minutes, I heard the cook say \"X-Large 1/2pepperoni up.\" I checked with the young lady at the counter, and she told me that was someone else\'s order--OK, they werebusy on a Friday night. Waited another 10 minutes or so, when I checked again--the same young lady told me sorry, that WAS myorder and gave me my pizza that was sitting on top of the oven for the duration. I asked about my garlic knots and the ladysaid sorry, here they are.\nIf I wasn\'t going to friends\' house with pizza, I would have had them make me a new pie andknots--but I did not want to delay further.\nThe pizza was not bad after it was re-heated in my friends\' oven, but the knotswere tasteless and there was no side of dipping sauce for the knots.\nThey were busy on a Friday night; but, the front desk hasto support the cooks on the line in the back--who were hustling getting orders out timely. Little Italy Pizza is a new pizzeria located in Mt Pleasant Market Place shopping center in Chesapeake. Connecting roads are Mt... Pleasant Rd and Centerville Turnpike. The restaurant location is within the former Casa Di Costanzo Pizza where the ownersrecently retired.\n\nI had my first meal from here Sunday afternoon. We did a carry out order that included 2 large pepperonipizzas with a salad and an order of garlic knots. We made the order over the phone via the slice app so all we needed to do wasgo pick it up. Upon pickup we watched them remove both pizzas from the oven, slice them and box them and we were on ourway.\n\nWithin a few moments the pies were home and plated. The warm fresh dough of the pizza had just enough flexibility tosemi fold the slice so that the point kept it\'s shape. The sauce was perfectly between sweet and bitter without being acidic.The cheese blend was excellent and the pepperoni was plentiful. These pies had no chance in **** and were swiftly devoured aswere the salad and garlic knots.\n\nExcellent meal. Fair price and even though they were fairly busy just before 5pm when wepicked up the order, the staff was on the ball and working like a well oiled machine! An easy 5 stars. Read more
Ordered a 16\" white pizza. There were 5 small chunks of tomato, and 3 pieces of basil. Not sure if there was any mozzarella... cheese on there. If there was, it was not seen, nor tasted. Really wanted to like this place. Disappointed. Ordered calzonecombo as well. Very small amount of meat & peppers inside. Marinara sauce very soupy. No taste.\nSure miss Costanza\'s! Nocomparison!! We ordered almost weekly from Casa Di Costanza, the restaurant Little Italy bought and replaced. So we decided to give Little... Italy a try. Unfortunately, this order was pretty terrible. The crust was so hard it was inedible, the white pizza was verysalty and the crust was hard and crunchy as well. No one in the family enjoyed their dinner. We might give it another try inthe future because of others good reviews but not anytime soon. Read more

Everyone come try Little Italy! The staff is so friendly and the food is delicious! DeShaun the chef makes the most outstanding... pasta dishes that are a must try! Definitely not Casa di pizza. Veggie calzone was mainly cheese. Marinara sauce was watered down. Food was bland. Salad was not... worth the price. Wait for food was super long. Not going back. Wish Casa didn\'t sell!!!!! Read more
We stopped in for lunch today, first time since the shop changed hands. We each had a baked sub (Philly steak for me, meatball... for her); both were delicious! We are looking forward to having a couple of cold ones and a pizza when they get their beerlicense! Read more
