Waited 75 minutes to get a table. Finally got a table and was told it would be another 30 minutes before we would get our food... because the kitchen was backed up. We got up and left! Visitng the restaurant on a weekend but not going to the whole festival? You might want to wait for another time of year. From... the looks of things, The Hive has great food -- you can see that in other reviews. We\'re very much looking forward to tryingit. However, you need to be aware of the challenges involved with getting *to* The Hive this time of year. We went at 8:15amSaturday 9/24 and discovered they were charging $5 for parking due to their fall festival. No problem, I can understand that. However, they were having all cars park in the far field and then hike back. The closer field was reserved for wedding parkingfor a wedding that was later in the afternoon. When I explained that my wife had twisted her ankle (and it\'s obvious that I\'mnot in the best shape myself), Wyatt was unwilling to hear any of it or discuss with any superiors about the possibility ofparking closer. After talking to a manager by phone later (who was willing to accommodate us had Wyatt contacted her), weunderstand that this will be the case on weekends at least through the end of October. I am unsure if they\'re doing anythingduring the Christmas season that might be similar. But for now, be prepared to pay to park, and to park very, very far away,even if you\'re just trying to get to the restaurant and not the festival. Hopefully they come up with a solution for customerswho just want to visit the restaurant on a weekend, and aren\'t participating in the entire fall festival. Food and drink are excellent and the staff is so nice and phenomenal! My waitress literally offered me her extra shirts when I... told her my son was obsessed with bees and she was so nice and friendly. The cook saw me pick the bell peppers of my sandwichbecause I forgot to ask for none and he offered to remake my food. Excellent service is an understatement. Read more
First time visit here was Saturday! I tried their Sriracha Honey chicken sandwich - ate the whole thing with no regrets! Very... cute; it was well kept & very inviting! I even noticed a whole play area and petting farm nearby the eating area, if you havekids! 5/5! Read more
It\'s great to have a new local spot in Chesapeake! I visited for lunch, nice menu selection with daily specials. I was... pleasantly surprised they are also open for breakfast and dinner. A very nice atmosphere at Greenbrier Farms. For lunch I hadtheir Southern Burger with a fried green tomato and peach bacon jam. I will definitely be returning for another meal! Read more
On a long road trip up north, we made an unexpected unassuming pit stop here at the farm. The outdoor restaurant caught our eye... and we followed the waddling ducks over to catch a meal during the sunset. We were pleasantly surprised! The food is amazing!And the staff so friendly and kind. The bbq ribs is a must. The catfish nuggets is a must. The pulled pork sweet potato fries isa must. Absolutely delicious. We wanted to try everything on the menu. For the amount of food, it was a great value! Nothingfeels better than when we stumble upon a gem. It was a great way to end a long day on the road. Read more
This place is absolutely beautiful! I love the outside seating and amazing vibes all around. Live music every Thursday. The... staff is always so friendly and the drinks are STRONG and delicious!!
