This little spot deserves all the stars given. The staff are so welcoming and attentive. The food was ridiculously amazing. It... is a cozy establishment and I'm grateful we decided to try something new! The filet mignon (not pictured here) was so tender andit was fun to see it come out sizzling in a cast iron dish. BEST. SUSHI. PERIOD. This place absolutely blew us away!! We tried it based on their great reviews and the food, atmosphere... and service all exceeded every expectation!! The food was so fresh and prepared so quickly, I've never seen anything like it. We ordered A TON of food too because we were so hungry, the amazing staff had our appetizers out incredibly fast and our sushiand hibachi right afterwards. I had the Sunset and the Soldier rolls and they were genuinely incredible. My wife had a Volcanoroll and it was so fresh it literally melts in your mouth!! I've been back twice with my 2nd dining experience ordering hibachi chicken with fried rice. That time we had an order of spring... rolls which were very good. Hubby had chicken teriyaki again (he's a once he finds something good he'll eat it til the end oftime guy) and loved it. I had chicken teriyaki take out with spring rolls. Y'all, you know how when you order TO it doesn'ttypically live up to the in dining experience both in quality and quantity? Well, my TO DID live up to an in dining experience.The packaging was just so darn neat that I spent the first 5 minutes exclaiming to myself that it was the neatest, fullest orderof take out I've ever had. And, it was just as good as when hubby ordered it our first time eating there. I noticed on my last2 visits that the word must have gotten out as there were a lot more diners than our first Saturday afternoon visit. Thisplace is so special that when I arrived a few minutes early for my take out the owner apologized to me for the wait. Y'all,this is for sure a stop to add into your restaurant line up. Ps, on my original visit we had tempura veggies as an appetizerand they were so good! Light and crispy without any greasy residue left on the lace paper doily. I found my new favorite restaurant , Tokyo! The sushi is excellent & the spring rolls were the best I’ve had in quite a while!... Also, the menu is extensive & has something for everyone! I cannot complete this review without mentioning the excellent servicewhich added to the pleasure of our experience. Lisa, our server, was knowledgeable, and oh, so helpful. When we asked about thelevel of spiciness of a sauce, we were brought a small taste to try it out. When my friend asked about the miso soup, Imentioned I didn’t care for miso. Lisa suggested I try their miso - it might surprise me. It did! I will definitely order itnext time! Lisa was attentive without being intrusive and as my friend & I sat & chatted over dinner, we never felt rushed. Weenjoyed a very nice Pinot Noir which was better than expected & reasonably priced. The latest spot in Great Bridge with amazing food. The Dragon roll was to die for and the vegetable tempura was the best I’ve... had in a really long time! The service was great, Tracey made us feel welcomed and gave me and my son an amazing experience. Wewill definitely come back. Read more

If you like sushi and you're in the Chesapeake area, this is a very good sushi restaurant. Service was wonderful, and the sushi... was so delicious, after my brother and I ate three rolls between the two of us, we ordered another roll. This place just openedup and I highly recommend it. Read more
