Food was ok but the establishment has a real strange vibe. Walked in the door wasn't greeted at all just gawked at. The lady who... took my order seemed perturbed or just miserable maybe both. The lack of common courtesy at this restaurant is appalling. Ithink it all comes back to home training and some people never had a lesson in it. I feel sorry for the cook who has to workwith her. I would never come back here. Read more

Food was fine but the blond lady working the counter is a weirdo. We walked in and the person in front of us was done ordering,... we proceeded to the counter and this lady just stared at us, no good morning no can I help you, nothing. So I greeted her with agood morning and she just stared at me. She took our order with no thank you, no nothing. Ok whatever, maybe she?s just not veryfriendly. All the tables were taken but at one point other customers left so we took a seat at the vacant table to wait. Thissame blonde lady came over and started wiping the table without warning, swiping the crumbs onto us. I almost left at this pointbut we were hungry. You can tell this place is very unfriendly to outsiders, as we watched as people that were clearly localscame in and they were greeted and treated as customers are typically treated. My husband was sitting in front of one of thecoolers and another woman who seemed to also work there came and stood right next to him staring. Eventually she said I need toget in the cooler. The word you may have been looking for was excuse me???? Instead of just staring at someone??? When our foodwas finally ready the first blond lady came out, plopped it on the table and walked away, with no thanks, no have a good day, noenjoy, no nothing. I?m not sure if they recognized that we were not from the area or if they just lack manners and customerservice skills. Read more

Friends and I looked for a nice brunch place to eat before we headed back from Hammonasset for the weekend. This quaint local... brunch spot popped up and it was very tasty. I had this grilled Genoa Salami on a roll and others in my party had the Deviledegg sandwich and a Paradise sandwich. Everyone was satisfied. If ever near Chester again, will hopefully be able to stop! Read more
