Their Calamari was the best I've had in a very long time. It was fried perfectly and extremely tender. Their special of Chili... Con Carne was also exceptional with just enough of spice in it. To top it off, their desert of Pumpkin cake with cream cheesefrosting literally "takes the cake" Selection of various beers was another plus. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE TO EAT. My dearest friend and I each traveled 1 1/2 hours from opposite directions to meet here for lunch. Definitely worth the drive!... We shared the pretzel charcuterie (as pretty as it was delicious, sorry I forgot to photo!) and had lunch salads, also tasty.Nice atmosphere and great service. Prices are reasonable. This place is a small bar and dining area. It gets busy on Fridays and the weekend, and we can understand why. The food was... delicious and service was great. You could smell all the quality dishes coming from the kitchen. We had the Tuna tostadas as anapatizer. I wish I had taken a photo, but we gobbled them up. Everything about it was so good (crispy shells, tasty andperfectly paired sauces that were crafted with quality in mind). Truly. It was very well done. Dinner was just as great. I hadthe Crispy Buttermilk Chicken sandwich with Parmesan fries. My companion had the Pan seared salmon. We were both verydelighted. We went on a Friday around rush hour-ish, where it was still early but folks were starting to come in. If you want aquieter atmosphere, I'd suggest getting there on the earlier side as it seems like it can get filled up, though I will say thatthe tables were decently spaced apart and roomy. The pricing was very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. I willgo again. It would probably be great for a weeknight dinner too. Read more
We have lived here for 2 years, TWO YEARS, and I am upset at ourselves since we didn't stop at this place until today! I have... read the recommendations on Facebook groups and I have even seen the ratings on google but I am not sure why we didn't stop hereuntil today. It's not like we live in a different location, we live in Chester. Anyway, this place is amazing! Love the cleanhomey feel of the dining area and the server made you feel at home as well. She was very attentive and was on top on ensuring wewere okay, if we wanted refills, and if we were satisfied with our meal. Service and atmosphere aside, the food was amazing! Ilove the sriracha honey wings! Some of the best wings I've ever had! Had some crispy bits on the outside, juicy on the insideand the seasoning and sauce were on point! I had pasta, I don't remember the exact dish name but it was shrimp with chopped upspicy sausage in a cajun type sauce. So good! Had a nice little kick to it but not too crazy even though I can handle crazy.Everything about my meal was overall great. Hubby had the buttermilk batter chicken sandwich but I didn't get a taste of it (wastoo full from my own dish) but I did try his fries which were really good too! He had stated that it was a good sandwich but thebread to chicken ratio was a bit off. He loved the bread but it was too thick for the chicken. He said it had a mayo type saucewhich was good as well. We noticed that they have a bar as well. We will have to bring our son with us the next time as he'sas much of a foodie as we are and we both know he'd love it like we did. Food here is worth your time. The wings are crispy on the outside but not dry on the inside. Yam fries are great for people who... like themselves. I got a chicken burger and the portion size and taste was fantastic. They use thick pickles if you dig that.Basically a great place. Read more
