Had to wait, even with reservation time. Service was slow. Started out ok with water and breadsticks. Soup and salad tasted... good. Prime rib wasn't hot. All the vegies in own cast iron skillets were cold. Ran out of mashed potatoes. Guy at next table(seven stars) was loudly complaining he had to wait an hour for a steak. Was utterly disappointed! A very special birthday dinner ruined. The food took one and a half HOURS to arrive. It was fish. The... outside was burnt and the inside still gelatinous. The Mac and cheese was burnt. I have never sent back a meal in my life. Theonly reason for the one star is due to our MORTIFIED a waiter who was extraordinarily sweet, plying is with comp drinks,appetizer and sides. Granted we would not have ordered those drinks had our meal been served. The manager was apologetic butfailed to realize our whole night of plans vanished due to the time and we were still HUNGRY when we left! She still charged usover $100 some for a few drinks and one meal. It was NOT a good steak but the birthday girl was trying to make us feel better,and THAT aid sad. It was HER night and we tried to make the best of it but this place should be closed. I wouldn’t accept afree meal here. The mashed potatoes were good. They ran out of the side we asked for. We watched and waited as others got servedand left but still no food. They rolled the fish and stuffed with crabmeat mush that was NOT GOOD and undercooked with slimyfish around it. We had not been to The Cove in some time and were delighted with the food that we ordered. I had the pork chop which was cooked... perfectly and it was outstanding. Our pinot grigio was crisp, cold and not too fruity. My other half had the scallops which weredone perfectly and she loved them. Our 2 sides of Asparagus and the Cauliflower with broccoli in a cheese sauce were deliciousand plentiful and we had to take most of it home. Our server, Alissa, was outstanding as she has been for the last 11 years atthe Cove and she's the biggest reason that we keep coming back. Read more

I was very disappointed, this was my first time eating here. I ordered the shellfish trio with the lobster and shrimp and... scallops, my girlfriend ordered the prime New York strip steak and we also had asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes everythingwas cold. My girlfriend didn't want to send her steak back cause it would have been over cooked, it was medium well. I did sendmine back and it still wasn't hot. This was very disappointing to us. The manager didn't even come to us to apologize. Badbusiness! Read more

The cove steakhouse & Raw bar, which is inside Harrahs casino, would always recommend to have reservations before going to the... place. Has such an awesome view of horse track and Delaware river. Ambience is good. Food usually takes time around 40 mins isuppose, so be prepared for that. Portions are good. Food quality is sooo good it has raw bar for oyster lovers as well. Bitpricey lobster dish is like 60 bucks and all other steak entries are around the same. Chicken dinner is good. Variety of liquoroptions. Desert options are good especially gelato ice-cream. I took us around 3 hours to finish the dinner thats the only issuei had, i don't mind but its something u keep in mind. Read more
Had dinner at the Cove a few weeks ago. Was unaware they changed the menu in November. What a disappointment. No choices of... soups. No wedge salad and only two choices of seafood. Was very disappointed with the new menu. They need to bring back theold menu. Possibly keep one or two items from the new menu but really prefer the original menu. Won’t be going back anytimesoon. Also the service was not great. Waited a long time just to order something to drink. Sad Read more
