Well Google map wanted to take me off on these other roads that really wouldn't have put me there at a good time the way I did... go got me there as soon as I should have the other roads because we took one direction at Google maps gave us and it put us backall on the road we would if we stay at head stayed on would have been right there only would have been a shorter time so I'mcoming back I just plugged it in to see where it would take me and it won't take me on different roads too if you get back thankyou need to do something with you Google maps Read more
This is one of my go to Vermont spots. The dining room has that Vermont feel with wood beams lined with bar taps and a stone... fireplace. The staff is always friendly, the food is good especially their blue cheese and maple chipotle wings, and they have agreat local beer selection! Read more
Everyone was so friendly and the food was delish!! Owners Sheldon and Francie chatted with us. Tracie the bartender was... wonderful and found something on tv for my grandson because the red Sox weren't playing. And finally, Gwen our waitress wasrefreshing and friendly. Nice atmosphere, good prices, nice place in town, for sure. Tavern is cozy and inviting. The food was good, but the service was... very slow. Granted, it was a busy night, but it took about 10 minutes to get drinks, then about 40 minutes for our food to comeout and the appetizer came basically with the entrees. We got one water refill and didn't get asked about another drink until wehad been waiting for the check for 15 minutes. Again, it was very busy and our server was super pleasant, just probably couldhave used another person on the floor for support. All in all, the food was good, just go when it's not so busy! Very reasonable prices, back patio is beautiful, inside has cool pub vibe. Dinner was good, husband had the special baby back... ribs which were really good. My fish tacos were ok, I've had much better, but I've also had worse. Only real complaint, orderedtheir sigature wings as an app and they came out after meal, which came out very fast. It wasn't busy, yet we felt rushed. Wewill give it another try for sure. Great VT craft beer list. Read more
The owner was very nice, the place is various shades of rustic, it is beautiful and it is comfortable. The beds we're nice and... clean, the breakfast was simple, Continental style with some fresh fruit. The tavern has a great atmosphere and I enjoyed theburger I had there. Read more
Got to start out with the breakfast, best darn bagels and muffins outside the state of New York. The room was neat and orderly,... in addition to being cozy. I got to say the new owners have really overhauled everything! It's a bit out of the way, but beyonda shadow of a doubt it's worth the travel! Read more
