We used to get coupons for them every week. Now no coupons. So, I stopped in for first time in over a year. Food is still ok.... But prices are just way too high for what you get. I am at home ill, and I ordered 4 lobster rolls, shrimp, fish, oysters for the family. I received 2 lobster rolls. I made... several calls to let the restaurant know only to get an answering machine or cut off. I left my phone number. If I get a call back I will change my review. I called in last minute for an order and they were very nice about it even when I got there and added the gumbo. Everything was... hot and tasted good and I still feel bad for ordering and arriving 30 minutes before closing but they were nice about it. Read more
I order the white fish meal with a side of broccoli & fries. I didn?t like the taste of the food. I didn?t care for the staff... mannerisms or professionalism either . I definitely won?t ever go back. Good price food tho. Read more
I got the catfish dinner with a baked potato, green beans and mac and cheese. The fish was very thin and the crust was hard in... spots. The potato was half cooked. Green beans were just okay. Mac and cheese tasted old. Hush puppies were good. It's gettingto be a hit or miss lately. I can say that the cashier was very nice. Read more
This place (surprisingly) is consistently good. The staff is friendly and efficient. They have a ton of side dish options and a... grilled white fish meal that my parents enjoy, along with a senior discount (making meals very affordable for elderly diners). Icredit this to good management. Only negatives: The place is in need of a face-lift and has been known to serve baked potatoesthat were held too long in the warmer. I've had past-prime potatoes in expensive places too... so I'll overlook that last issueand hope management reads this. Otherwise, keep up the good work. ???? Read more
I was debating between Long John Silver and Captain D's. I went with Captain D's to see what all the hype was about. I ordered... the seafood sampler platter. It came with a whole ear of corn, green beans, 2 hush puppies, butterfly shrimp and a piece offish. The shrimp were pretty good, the fish was good, a bit small in size but still good. The corn was very good, it was sweetand buttered well. The green beans were also pretty good. The hish puppies were great, I usually do not like them you all, sothat should speak volume.
