Bad service, but horrible food. Our food came out cold and not savory. The broccoli wasn?t steamed well, rolls didn?t rise, ribs... were under seasoned and dry, the drinks were watered down and the staff/management need to be retrained. It took a while to get food and checked out. We got the Wednesday special, being the cobbler. They were out of ice cream. It's... not a cobbler when there is no ice cream. First time visitor and went after work. I live more than an hour away. Busy Friday afternoon. Service was okay, and I say... this because I was there between shift change. Food was good. Wow again the seafood combo. With loaded mac and asparagus with a 6 oz side sirloin was executed perfectly.. great bar and grill... vibe with amazing food.. When we arrived there was a gentleman in front of us reserving for large party. After he finished he moved away. There were 3... employees at the front, they totally ignored us (my mom with a cane, my sister & me) we spoke up & asked if they had a table for3. Again it was like we were invisible. After a little while we asked if we could sit in the bar area & were told yes so weseated ourselves. Alison came to wait on us and could not have been more kind & attentive. Environment was great, service was great, staff was friendly. I ordered the steak, ribs, and chicken meal with fries and mac n... cheese. Chicken was spot on, mac n cheese was amazing, steak was very cold, over cooked, and dry, definitely cooked ?well done?when I requested ?medium?, I would have thought the steak was cooked earlier that day. Fries were undercooked (very wet andslimy in texture), ribs were not very good at all, extremely cold, dry, and fell apart into little crumbs, I was unsure if itwas real meat. Overall I would give it another shot, but I will be sticking to the cheaper items since their higher qualityfoods and higher priced items fall far below expectations. 3 stars for environment, staff, and service. 3 guests: $81. 2 adults 1 teen 1 child. 4 meals = $65. Waitress was very personable. Drinks and bread were served quickly (no lemon for the... water- asked 3 times). Bread was cold and getting hard. 1- Carolina gold chicken sandwich came out with no bbq sauce and nobacon. Instead of redoing the plate they brought out bacon and sauce. By the time they came out the chicken was cold and driedout, tots were cold. 2- smothered chicken tender dinner. Asked for heavy gravy, came out with gravy on the side... in acondiment cup. Asked for more gravy, ended up getting charged for it.... Kids meal was free with coupon. Ordered the browniebites. Came out missing the caramel and powdered sugar. After speaking with the manager (20+ minute wait for him) the bill waswrong 3 times. First charged for the kids meal even after showing her the coupon, charged for an extra drink... WTH happened to O'Charley's. This is the worst meal I've had this year. The Mac and cheese was all Mac and no cheese. The rolls... were hollow and I believe my steak was from earlier in the day and they just reheated it. It has been a couple years since I hadbeen but I know I won't go back!!! Read more
