My experience at Bar Louie in Chesterfield, Missouri was the worst. I live in the area and don't know if I'll go back. When we... arrived at the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon is wasn't busy at all and besides us, there were only 5 other people in therestaurant. Sat at the bar and the bar tender ignored us for almost 20 minutes. Placed our food order and it took another 35minutes and she only checked on us once while she checked on others who sat at the bar several times. Didn't even ask to refillour water. We ordered sliders and a chicken sandwich. I asked for no garlic aioli, and a side of bbq sauce. Don't you know theycharged us $.50 each for a side of bbq sauce. I am not a cheap person but I travel and eat out alot and I never get charged fora side of bbq sauce. Just threw me off when I saw that charge. I knew we shouldn't have eaten there when we showed up. Themajority of the tables were dirty and needed to be cleaned off. Two seats on each side of us were never cleaned and they leftthe plates and used utensils from the previous guest besides us. Great place to grab a bite. We all enjoyed our food. The Mac-n-cheese was particularly good.
We had a great time! Our food was stellar, our server Brittany was a delight, Natasha/the manager who checked in on us was super... sweet. We will definitely be coming back to try brunch!!! This was our first time having martinis (I know), but my husband and I are fans now. We tried four of them and they were ALL... delicious. Great happy hour ($6 drinks and 1/2 apps), delicious food, and a great, attentive server made this our new go-toplace in Chesterfield!! Read more
Re. Our takeout order on a busy Saturday evening: first, Jack (bartender/answered phone) and Lindsay (manager) were friendly and... attentive to my issues. Having said that: 1. Take out order for 6 was ready for pick-up on time. Arriving home, discoveredseveral items/meals missing. Returned to store thinking we?d missed picking up second bag. Wrong; items were just missed. Theyrechecked order and we had to wait as they prepared missing items. 2. Of the 6 meals, 3 were OK/average (2 cheese burgers, 1macaroni and chicken). The lettuce wedge was marginal - a bare 1/2 head of lettuce, some chopped tomatoes, onions, cilantro and1 ramekin of dressing with a few blue cheese crumbles (photo). The beef sliders (photo) were bare, 2 dry untested buns and abeef patty, period; nothing like the ad picture. The chicken tacos were almost bare. Tried to combine the 3 tacos to make ameal, so did not get a chance to take a picture. They would have been returned to the kitchen if we were dining in. Megan was our server and she did a fantastic job. She new the menu and made awesome recommendations. We are a picky family, but... she asked the right questions and led us to a killer meal. Its a corporate space, but the people make you feel at home. We had afew drinks to start and ordered an appetizer. She delivered the food fast and we never had to ask for a refill on water or formy sons limonade. The patio is spacious and so is the inside. Check this place out and ask for Megan! Read more
We sat at the bar and Ali waited on us. It was a great night with fast service. She made us several different drinks which were... all good including the strawberry martini she made special. This place has really improved since the last time we were here! Read more
