Reviews for ninja japanese sushi bar & steak house in Chesterfield, MO

Have ordered delivery for the last 3 Sundays now. Always the same thing, Shrimp Tempura Roll, and Crunch Roll. The first week,... it was GREAT! Good portions, and great taste. The next week, still great, but the portions went from 8 pieces each to 6. Thisweek, it went down to 6 Crunch Roll, and only 5 of the shrimp, and MUCH thinner slices. $20+ for 11 small pieces of sushi justISN'T worth it. Too bad because I really liked this place. I really loved this place. We were in a hurry before a movie and went to the restaurant side and not the hibachi grill side.... They were fairly busy on a Saturday, but got our meal out quick. We ordered the ninja roll, ocean roll, and a bento box withteriyaki steak. The sushi was filling and filled with everything I could ever want. The few leftovers we had were fought overthe next day. I personally have been to three Japanese steakhouses in my life. One is Kobes which I have been to five times. The 2nd is out of... business and this is the third. I will be comparing this place to Kobes. Review on the hibachi~ We came on a Sunday at around3pm I personally absolutely loved our cook. He was extremely bubbly and energetic. As for the food the salad with the sauce wasgood. The soup would not be my choice of flavor. My dad also did not like it but my mother loved it. The noodles we all agreedwere the BEST thing there. We loved it. As for the rice it was lacking the same sort of treatment the noodles got. The rice waspretty bland or it tastes so bland because it was served after the noodles. As for the main course I got the two steaks atmedium (not the tenderloin/fillet). I honestly did not enjoy either of them as much as I wanted to. I wished I had gone withjust the fillet. I also tried the chicken which has an unique taste to it that some people will like (I did). The shrimp wasalso very good. But overall Kobes is a better place to go with if the drive doesn't matter to you. I will be back to try a fewthings from the lunch menu. ~Takeout I got the general taso bento box which came with a lot of different stuff to try. Thegeneral task was sweet same with the general taso. They gave plenty of its sauce which I love. The miso soup was absolutelydigusting and you could taste the tin that it was kept in for likely days. Read more

The best Japanese hibachi in Chesterfield! Been to the other places in and around Chesterfield / West County and this place was... great. Everyone in my party agreed that the food was more flavorful and fried rice comes standard with no upcharge like theother places. The overall prices are very reasonable and service was good and friendly. Our hibachi chef was entertaining.Will be back ! Read more
